Met at property promptly when informed of time we were arriving. Generous breakfast portions left for us along with staple foods. Comfortable accommodations with electric blankets provided. Enjoyed our stay.

Place is great for a bigger group.
An upstairs bathroom would be even better. The shower needs to be fixed as the water was leaking. A warning sign in the kitchen for the hot water would be required too, as that tap is boiling. A quiet get-away outside of Richmobd.

This is a house probably built as a rental and associated with a farm. It was unlocked and we never saw anyone. Truly in the middle of nowhere. Worked OK for us but was a bit of a surprise. The house is nice and would be great for a larger group; two queen beds in a loft and one more downstairs. A couple of miles from Richmond and there isn't much in Richmond. Convenient to the airport.

The Chalet is a converted pickers hut and as such has never been used as rental premises.Richmond is the only georgian village in Australia, with many interesting sites to visit. As an example,RIchmond bridge is the oldest still functioning bridge in the country, coupled with . the Catholic Church being the first built in Australia and of course the jail facilities that are more than 200 years old. What a shame that you missed the beautiful walking paths, the many.wineries and restaurants, one of which is world ranked.Perhaps you arrived late after checkin closed and left early for your flight .Richmond Village has 350000 tourist visitors a year and they just return again and again. There must be something here that they like that you missed. Perhaps on your next trip you might find it.
The property has everything you need either for short stay or long stay. Beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Will definately be comung back for a longer stay.

Fabulous little cottage, situated in a quiet location. Everything you could need for a relaxing stay. Generous breakfast and basics such as bread, real coffee, juice, yogurt, and fruit all included. The owners were most helpful with a tourist ideas. Would I stay there again? Absolutely, it was delightful

Only stayed for 1 night but was impressed by this very well appointed cottage. Spacious with everything in working order. The host popped over and gave us a few tourist tips.
Warm, clean and spacious. We shared our booking with another couple. There was a bedroom upstairs and one downstairs, which was good. The lounge downstairs was spacious. The bathroom was adequate. Kitchen small and basic continental breakfast was provided. The host was informative by phone about check-in when I made the booking through an internet travel website.

Thank you for staying at Alexanders. we are a 3.5 star bed & breakfast with the breakfast that is supplied plainly listed on the web site. Unpretentiously country comfortable !!
Breakfast provisions are plentiful, warm, cosy cottage. Very peaceful. Alexander is a delight - although we did not get to meet him his communication with you is excellent.
The chocci biscuits were a lovely surprise.
The location was a bit away from town and within a farm area but is not a farmstay. We only stayed for 1 night just before our return. The location is about 15 mins drive away from major supermarkets like Coles and Woolworths. 30 mins drive from airport. 5 mins drive from Richmond Bridge and town area. If u drive, the location is really not a problem.
We didn't get to see the owner throughout our stay, which is totally not a problem for us, but found the arrangement a bit strange. The owner left the door opened for us on our check in and we have no problem with that. The low rating for hotel staff is because we didn't even see one. I would choose not to rate if this is possible.
The place was clean and spacious. The kitchenette has no stove and can't cook, but has toaster, microwave and electric kettle. But family that wishes to cook really can't in this accommodation. But we were pleasantly surprised that the kitchen was stocked up with breakfast enough to feed 2x the number of pax.
There is no laundry facility although description in Expedia said there is. But since it was our last night there, not a problem for us.

THERE IS A FULLSIZE BBQ .A BANQUET SIZE ELECTRIC FRYPAN. A TOASTER OVEN A SANDWICH TOASTER. A MICROWAVE OVEN.WE STATE QUITE CLEARLY THAT THERE IS A LAUNDRAMAT AT NEARBY SORELL.WE ARE 2 MINUTES DRIVE FROM 2 IGA SUPERMARKETS. WE ARE A BED AND BREAKFAST AND WHEN HOUSEGUESTS ARRIVE LATE WE ARRANGE FOR THEM TO BE ABLE TO COME WHEN IT PLEASES THEM.AFTER TAKING THERE BREAKFAST ORDER, WE INFORM THEM THAT THE FRONT DOOR IS UNLOCKED SO THAT THEY DO NOT FEEL ANY PRESSURE TO ARRIVE ON TIME. OUR STAFF FREQUENTLY RECIEVE COMPLIMENTS IN OUR GUEST BOOK FOR THERE KIND AND EXCELLENT SERVICE.
THE ONLY WAY THAT THE WATER WAS WARM IS IF THE HOUSE GUEST ARRIVED BEFORE THE STIPULATED TIME ON THE BOOKING SHEET.HOUSE GUEST HAS ALEXANDERS NUMBER AND COULD HAVE INFORMED US OF EARLIER ARRIVAL, IF THAT HAD BEEN DONE EVERY THING WOULD HAVE BEEN PREPARED.
The location of the accommodation was just lovely. It was well stocked with all that was needed to prepare own meals. One negative was the provision of plastic wine glasses. Overall very pleasant stay.
