"We arrived a little early for check-in and were warmly welcomed and told our room was ready for us. The room is what you'd expect from a motel in a small town, but comfortable and very clean. Ticked all of the boxes with a comfy bed, decent bathroom, coffee machine, TV with streaming channels, and ample storage. The chairs and table in the room and outside on the patio were a welcome addition as were the little chocolates left on the bed. Would be very comfortable for an extended stay."

"Highview is a quiet property but still close to the center. The kitchen has everything you could possibly wish for and my family and me very much enjoyed staying there. It's very spacious, so everyone can be in their own room or we can all hang out in the living room, enjoy the free Netflix and spend time together. We had an amazing time, Gina was very helpful regarding recommendations for dinner and what to do in the area. Will definitely come back! "

"The property was perfect for our big family, big bedrooms with plenty of bathrooms, lovely big verandah with outdoor tables and chairs. Living areas were roomy too. The couple of negatives for our stay were that we had to supply bath towels, the ventilation was poor, having to force windows open for fresh air, and the air-conditioning was unfortunately not working in the lounge area. One other negative was the laundry was only coin operated, which was tricky with young children and staying a week. Otherwise it was a perfect house for our stay. Staff were very nice and helpful when we contacted them about a couple of issues. Thankyou for having us, we did have a lovely visit."

"The ground floor unit is beneath the main accommodation which is like a big house and so the noise upstairs can be an issue. We were lucky there were no families with children upstairs. The kitchen is well appointed and very clean. The living room space is quite adequate for 2 people. But the bedroom is a let-down - only one bed lamp on the one bedside table. Are we to read turnabout? The mattress is a shocker and we slept top and toe to avoid the roll-in to the middle. I felt mislead as the washing machine costs $5 per load to use and the drier $1 for only 10 minutes - I'd not like to be there with a family. No clothesline space at all available yet there's heaps of space where lines could be put underneath the main accommodation. The clothes airers were locked in upstairs. A worker arrived who let us in to get the clothes airers. The bathroom floor is very slippery (as noted by another person), and no rails in the slippery floor shower, which is at odds with the otherwise accessibility of the unit, if for oldies like us (76 & 68). There is a $15 fee for Wifi. We stayed for the two nights we booked but I'd not go back in light of the above. Having been in the accommodation industry in the past, we hope this comment is looked at as being constructive rather than critical."
