“Great facilities will go back again.”
This hotel was very comfortable and decor tasteful. The spa facilities were great enjoyed hot tub especially, good sized swimming pool. Shame no treatments available this weekend. Restaurant was in a lovely position over looking harbour, food was okay but a bit over priced. Had a lovely patio area shame weather not great enough to enjoy it. In a ideal position to explore surrounding area eg Portsmouth, Chichester. I would definitely return again to this hotel again may be to try one of the packages on offer.
“truly a four star”
everything in this hotel was as one would expect with a four star hotel, food and service very good, accomodation clean and comfortable would go back.

“Langstone Hotel, Hayling Island, Feb/Mar 2011 - great!”
Great price from Expedia for this 4-star hotel, a 'luxury' family room - a lot cheaper than booking direct with the hotel's website. Great swimming pool and gym, lovely breakfast and dinner - really good hotel and although not as near Portsmouth as we thought, we would go there again because the hotel was so good. Staff really professional and friendly, even with noisy baby. Definitely family-friendly.
“GREAT FAMILY ROOM.......”
NICE HOTEL............. WE BOOKED THIS HOTEL INSTEAD OF A HOLIDAY INN BECAUSE OF THE 4 STAR RATING AND THE FACT THAT IT HAD TWO BEDS AND NOT JUST A PULL OUT SOFA. I AM GLAD I DID,THE LUXURY FAMILY ROOM WAS HUGE AND MY LITTLE 6 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER WAS SO EXCITED SHE HAD HER OWN BED NEXT TO MUMMY AND DADDY. IT HAD A DOUBLE AND A SINGLE BED AND A LARGE WET ROOM BATHROOM WITH A GREAT SHOWER. THE ONLY FAULT WITH THE WHOLE ROOM WAS THAT THE BEDS ARE FAR TO SOFT, I MEAN YOU SINK IN THEM TOWARDS THE MIDDLE IF THEY MADE THE BEDS FIRMER IT WOULD BE PERFECT. BREAKFAST BUFFET WAS GREAT AND WE USED THE SWIMMING POOL AS WELL. OVERALL IT WAS 4 STARS RATING.........
“Absolutely Loved Our Stay Would Recommend to all.”
We arrived at the Langstone hotel and were given a room on the ground floor. I requested a higher floor and the room was changed immediately. Staff were very courteous & polite. The room was lovely & although on the car park side we had a good view of the boats etc and no noise from the carpark. There was several weddings on during our stay but had no problem with noise or parking. The room had a fridge,iron & board. Kettle,tea coffee & milk that was replenished every day. Lovely big white fluffy towels & toiletries that were also replenished every day. We didnt take the breakfast as daily it was around £10.00 per person. The bed was extremely comfortable & pillows were really comfy.The trip was partially business & partly pleasure. The hotel is a perfect base for visiting the surrounding areas. We would most certainly return. We could have used the pool & facilities but just didnt have time. We visited Portsmouth,Bognor Regis,Southsea,Hayling Island & surrounding areas. Plenty to do & see but sadly we ran out of time. Would most certainly return to this hotel it was a really comfortable stay.
“A fantastic stay”
Our stay at the Langstone was for our sister's wedding and all of the staff were fantastic and very professional but relaxed. Nothing was too much trouble from start to finish. The food was great too. We had full use of the leisure facilities included in our room rate..
“Langstone Hotel Hayling island”
we stayed here Saturday 19th January 2008. lovely hotel , staff are wonderful, food was great we ate in the restaurant but to be honest the bar food looked amazing too. Pool and spa area was great. Only downside ...very strange carpet all the way through :) I would recomend this hotel as we had a great stay
“Will go back”
Would definitely recommend this hotel, it represented excellent value for money. We stayed in a triple deluxe suite and it was clean, quiet and comfortable. The pool was good, maybe the changing facilities pool side could benefit from a bit of work, they looked a bit "tired" compared with the rest of the hotel. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We had dinner in the restaurant and really enjoyed our meal. The service was excellent. The hotel was easy to find and was a good base for exploring the Witterings and Chichester.
“Portsmouth trip”
Hotel excellent with good location and spotless rooms. However all a bit plasticy with annoying musac in all the public areas. Good for an overnight stay.
