“Coming back!!!”

My husband, our nine year old son, and myself stayed four days in the soundfront quarters.(the newest) Our room had a great view overlooking the sound and the dock, where the charter and commercial fishing boats come in and out.You could sit and watch what the catches were for the day! The room was clean and comfortable. The restaurants, the Breakwater Inn and Dinky's on each side of room were TOP NOTCH. Alittle pricey, but very good. Highly recommend visiting Risky Business seafood market right there on site. Try the spicy steamed shrimp. The owner has steaming shrimp down to a science! We also highly recommend chartering a boat with Ken Dempsey. He will take in the sound to fish and you will not be sorry! Awesome man! Get to know the locals! They can direct you to the good things in Haterras!

“Check their reservation policies before you book here!”

When you reserve a room at this hotel, please be aware that they charge your credit card at the time you reserve the room. We booked our room a month ahead of time and it appeared on my credit card statement well before we left home for our vacation. It wasn't a bad hotel, they were just so strict in their policy that they would not make an exception even for a family emergency. Also, the room were quite small. The mini kitchen was nice. The furnishings were a little dated but it was clean. I liked the view of the marina but if you like fresh air and want to leave the balcony door open while you sleep, don't be surprised if the fishermen wake you up well before dawn.

“Bad News Hotel”

We were relegated to the back part of the hotel, which was dirty and the bathroom didn't work well nor did the internet reach the room in spite of the charge. We were very disappointed and don't recommend this to anyone, especially for a birthday trip. The continental breakfast was bad coffee and a box of Entemanns. BAD PLACE, do NOT stay here.
