It is the parking which is a problem, double yellow lines everywhere. I had to park opposite the place in the Medow its a multi story car park which costed me £6.50 everyday .

Very spacious, clean room. 15 mins walk from the old town where there are lots of places to eat and drink. Bar next door with restaurant if you're feeling lazy! Would book here again if in Hastings.

The bed was huge and comfortable and layout of the room was interesting. It was a bit noisy for me being over the bar, restaurant, but it was a Saturday night and if that is your thing, its all part of the fun. The staff really tried to accommodate our dietary needs.

Good Trip
Lovely building, good room. Restaurant / bar excellent. Staff friendly & helpful. Good jazz music. Room price very fair. Would stay there again! Few minutes to Station & Town Centre.

Apart from a blood stain on the sheet (which had been washed but obviously not come out) our stay was good. The room was big and spacious in a good location.

We booked a room with a shower in the room and a private toilet down the hallway. This was reflected in the cheaper price of the room compared to rooms with ensuite bathrooms. We found the room pleasant and clean. The staff were helpful and friendly.

The property is quite old and situated in an area that seem to be a site of social issues as street signs forbidding substance abuse, namely alcohol and drugs, can be seen nearby. Our room which didn't have double glazing windows was facing a busy road.

Excellent Value, Sparkling Clean
The room (no. 4) was sparkling clean and very comfortable, the hotel very quiet. I received a warm and friendly reception from Kerry, and although I did not partake of the restaurant or bar, the atmosphere and menu looked good. Excellent value for the money and 5 minute walk to the seafront:

Don’t stay in room 6 ask for room 5,10 x better
I stayed in room no 6 on the 3rd floor. Room was very clean. There is noise from out front from traffic. Room was like an oven from heat I think from boiler next door.disappointed in hanging rail for clothes sitting by window as no cupboard. Also continental breakfast was poor as well. I did get moved to room no 5 this room was fantastic no problem with heat loads more room ,big bath ,big bed small wardrobe (better than hanging rail) really clean like the other room So much better again poor continental breakfast especially as seeing the feedback for the cooked breakfast.

Comfortable with central location
The central location was very good and the car park opposite was very convenient. There was some road noise but it wasn't a problem. The hall and landing were a bit shabby but the room was very clean and had a nice shower and comfortable bed with lovely good quality sheets. We had breakfast next door in Pissarro's which was excellent. It was freshly cooked and delicious and only cost £6.95. There was a good choice and it was served with friendly and helpful staff. For the money you can't go wrong here.

Quirky hotel with character in the town centre.
The room was a lovely size with lots of character. The bed was comfortable with lovely crisp sheets. Reasonable price, cheaper than Premier Inn. The breakfast was very good.

All aspects of the stay were very positive. The smell of mold in the staircase was overpowering and this is the only negative comment.
