“Heart of Hanoi”
I was thoroughly pleased with my stay at Silk Path Hanoi. Mind you, I was battling a severe case of food poisoning during my business trip. One day, I consulted the concierge and they happily assisted me in finding me a good pharmacy to find some medicine for my stomach pains. With internet and breakfast buffet (which was above average compared to much of the fare I had in Vietnam for breakfast) I could not argue with the price either! Room service was prompt and the food was good (what little I could stomach). Nestled in the heart of Hanoi near Hoan Kiem Lake, I would recommend this hotel to many people intending to stay in Hanoi for business or pleasure.
“Location, location, location”
It was really nice, good service and everything clean. The breakfast buffet was very good and we could walk to many places from there, it's in the middle of Hanoi's chaos, which is the best part of the hotel.
“An oasis of peace and quiet in crazy Old Quarter”
Loved our stay at Silk Path. Staff- friendly and extremely helpful. Concierges spent considerable time helping us arrange trips, restaurant reservations, etc. Drinks and food at the bar- not overpriced. Barkeeps didn't try to chase us out of the bar at the closing time (as happened in some other hotels). Room (executive) was just big enough for us and the baby, cozy. Bathroom fixtures are new, and place overall is well designed. Location is great. We walked pretty much everywhere. semed like no POI of Hanoi was more than 25 mins away, walking. Old Quarter- you get immersed in it right as you exit the hotel. I felt the money was well spent, would definitely go back.
“Hanoi Hotel Gem”
This hotel is definitely worth 4.5 stars. The presentation of the hotel and the friendly, helpful staff made for a great stay in Hanoi. On the edge of the French Quarter, the hotel is ideally situated to explore all parts of the city. The hotel restaurants and bars are great places to eat, drink and relax.
“a surprising boutique hotel”
We selected this hotel due to its location and good reviews. Several shops and restaurants are within walking distance. We expected basic services which we didn't mind as our schedule of appointments would allow limited time in the hotel. However, due to good location, we managed to go back in between schedules. Upon arrival, we were met by the bellman who conversed with ease in English and shared with us a map so we can find our way around. The design of the hotel allows an airy feeling - there is natural light in most areas, including an all glass guest - speedy elevator. What the guest room lacked in terms of space, it made up with its toiletries in-room, bed linens, towels and other facilities / fixtures will compete with a higher category hotel. There is a safety deposit box too which can hold two 13" lap tops plus more items at once. The glass wall between the bathroom-tub and bedroom provides privacy and light to the room. This hotel also encourages guests to participate it their program for the environment. Buffet breakfast is also good offering variety from western staple to Oriental choices. The hotel however charges children even age 7 for breakfast when bigger hotels don't.
“Good quality reasonable price”
Nearly new hotel , good experience Pleasant small bar and restaurant good location
“Fantastic Hotel”
Silk Path exceeded my expectations. Only rated 4 star, but I would say more like 4.5 to 5 star. Great location, service was great, rooms were great, and breakfast was also great. The staff were always accommodating. Unfortunately doesn't have a pool. Other than that, will definitely go back.
“Look No Further. This Is It !!”
This is a very classy hotel and a great value. I highly recommend it. I've stayed in many hotels in Hanoi, trying to keep my expenses low yet have comfort, cleanliness, quiet, and convenience, and this hotel delivers it all. From now on, whenever I'm in Hanoi, this is where I'll stay.
“A good boutique hotel”
I stayed at this hotel 3 or 4 times already since I discovered this hotel from Expedia site. I think the hotel offers very good price/performance at the current rate as compared with Melia or Movenpick I used to stay. Service is generally good and warm. Location is good too with many restaurants and pubs around. It does not have the big lobby of a hive star hotel but if this is not your major requirement, this may be good option.
“It is closed to Church Street! I love this place!”
The neighborhood is a bit busy, but over all.. you are in the middle of town! closed to military meusum (5mins walk). I can't wait to go back in September.
