Beds v good. Toilet seat unattached from pedistal curtains torn and faded. Insufficient cutlery for 4 guests. Several lights inoperative. Tv didnt work. Clean.Very spacious but needs good modernisation

Great location very close to shops, cafes etc, and very quiet. Good size units with plenty of room to move. The property has been let go, needs updating, theres so much potential.

Booked two nights, stayed one. Creepy crawlies on bed. Reception open 8am-8pm, so managed as best we could for the night. Checked room on arrival but did not pull bed covers to check for creepy crawlies. Still charged for one sleepless night. Such a pity as property is in great location - convenient walk to town centre.

A nice newer room with walk-in shower, king size bed and extremely comfy chairs! The chairs were so comfy we never got around to using the spa!

I’ve stayed here before and love the location, spacious rooms and natural surroundings. I was very disappointed this time. The room had a spa but it was broken, and there was rubbish all over the ground outside the bedroom. There were chips under the couch cushions and the carpet had not been vacuumed. The indoor pool was cold and so over-chlorinated as to be unusable. As this was one of the major draw cards, I won’t be back.

Good room in a poorly managed and maintained motel
My stay at this motel had good points and bad points. 1. Checkin was OK but upon arrival at my room it was still being cleaned. The cleaner was apologetic and berated the lack of communication from checkin staff 2. The room was clean, roomy and comfortable but in need of updating 3. The bed? A queen size mattress upon a double bed base. Bed was a bit wobbly. Cheap-and-nasty. 4. One reason that I chose this motel was for its indoor heated pool. The pool was not heated, very cold. Reported it to reception who uttered a feeble excuse and did nothing more. 5. The motel gardens were overgrown and unsightly. Lots of weeds, very little maintenance. 6. The barbeque nearest to my room was dirty and dusty. The rubbish tin was full and overflowing. Rubbish was strewn around the bbq area. Surely motel management would do a daily walk around the property and clean up this mess? 7. This motel is well located, a very short walk to shops and eateries. 8. The management of this motel is doing almost nothing to maintain the property.

The customer service is above the standard. When someone parked in my parking lot, they tried to find my a lot and then was taken again by some visitors and they followed it up. The reception was very professional and has a very polite altitude.

I booked a Deluxe Queen Room for my wife and myself which was clean, comfortable and spacious - very good value for the price. The only problems (minor) that I encountered were that the shower leaked and there was no dishwashing detergent.

The property was dated, but neat and comfortable. There was ample space in the room and it had everything I needed including extra blankets and pillows. The bed was comfy, the shower was hot with excellent pressure and the area was quiet. I had a great sleep and woke refreshed.

Property was close to restaurants and walks. Rooms were clean and reasonable price. The wifi connection was very weak so couldn’t use it so had very little phone coverage because you only get 3G in Halls Gap.

The owner Mathew was very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The unit I stayed in was excellent, clean, light and in good condition. I loved waking up to the kangaroos munching on the grass around the whole property. I will definitely stay here again in the future.

Disappointing
This establishment could be amazing but the owners need to do a huge upgrade. Our first room we discovered at 10pm first night had a major leak and the carpet became absolutely soaked (squelching). Complained next morning and eventually got upgraded to a spa suite. Fantastic we thought. The spa however had an out of order sticker attached! Disappointing. The 2 units were in desperate need of a new coat of paint and general update of furnishings. Location is perfect but don't expect 3star.
