"オーナーのご夫婦の人柄がとても素敵です。こちらのコテージを45年経営しているそうですが、よくメンテナンスされており清潔で、料理もおいしいです。旦那さんの弟さんが、アメリカのメーン州で留学をされていたそうですが、内観も外観も、ステイしていた牧師さんのお家をインスピレーションに作られているそうです。私の夫はアメリカ人ですが、夫も父方の祖父の家に似ていると言っていました。家具や調度品がとても素敵です。 また、夜は無料で暖炉でマシュマロを焼かせてくださいます。またご夫婦に会いにこちらに泊まりたいです。"

"Very nice and helpful people running the hotel. However, the place is VERY hard to find and reach, especially at night time. Moreover the room was exceptionally cold, including the mattress, so that I was forced to put a blanket below and another on top so as not to freeze. On the upside, as I said, the owner was really nice and even offered me to take me to the train station in the morning."

"The owner, Kaori-san, and her sister, who works with her, are welcoming and friendly. We enjoyed our conversations with them. The inn is clean and comfortable. We went to Yatsugatake by train, and the station is an uphill walk of 30-40 minutes from the inn. Kaori's sister generously gave us a lift in her own car. We hope to return to this delightful little inn one day."

"The location is nice (about a 30 minute winding road drive from Karuizawa station), but the building is a bit on the older side. Dogs are allowed, and the walls are a bit thin, so when someone walks by outside or the (quite loud) AC unit switches on, expect to hear barking no matter what time it is. The beds are also quite old and not particularly comfortable. "
