"This place did not disappoint. The views are identical to the listing. The chalet is cozy and we felt right at home. We took advantage of the fondue sets and made an amazing dinner at home away from the crowded restaurants. The beds were so comfortable and we all slept great. "The photos of the property do not do it justice. It is FANTASTIC. We celebrated my 60th birthday with a trip to our beloved Grindelwald. My 86 year old dad traveled with us. We got a hotel by the train station (the Derby) at which we've enjoyed staying on previous trips. He would not have handled the 45 steps to Chalet M very well. "We enjoyed our stay at this property! The unit was cozy, clean, & well furnished - it had lovely warm home vibes & breathtaking views of the Eiger just out on the front patio. The unit is conveniently located near Grindelwald Terminal (train station & Eiger Express) & a 1-2 minute walk to local bus routes 21 & 23 to get you to the heart of town, so it's very accessible if you're traveling on public transportation systems.
