Dear Mr Michael,We are really sorry that you were so disappointed by your comments about our service, however, the truth is, that you never had the chance to visit our property and meet us in person. You made a reservation throughExpedia but unfortunately you never showed up to the hotelΤhe day before your arrival you sent us a message that you could not come due to a strike, where our reservations department try to help you with the best possible way, by sending you links with available ferries the day before and the day after the strike. Later on, we were informed that one ferry will finally operate despite the strike and we send you all the relevant information in order to issue tickets and come to Santorini. You never replied but we were waiting for you. However, you never showed up, as you probably decided not to come to Santorini.We really hope that you understand how discouraged it is to acknowledge that you have decided to write areview on our staff of Strogili Traditional Houses, that never had the chance to meet you in person and provide their services and hospitality to you. Additiionally, you knew our daily rate before you made your reservation, so why do you write that we are "overpriced and a waste of money?" Why you say "the worst experience of our trip to Greece" when you never showed up, and you have the chance to enjoy our services and facilities ?We are very sorry for the inaccuracies you wrote about us. Dear Haerang,Thank you for providing your feedback about your recent stay at Strogili Traditional Houses. Kindly note that from our side, we need to pinpoint a few things. At first, upon your arrival we gave you an upgrade in order to give you the chance to enjoy your stay more. Secondly, all rooms are strictly inspected prior to guests’ arrival. Nevertheless, unfortunately, damages happen, especially when a machine operates 24 hours/7 days for 6 months non- stop. The next day we had to replace the whole unit and you changed room and you were transferred to the type of room you originally booked. So your claim that you wasted a half day to wait, is a bit unfair.Your remarks about our staff come as a surprise to us, since the majority of our guests commend our personnel and praise them for their politeness and friendliness and make us proud for having each one of them in our team. We truly hope that this current experience will not deter you from visiting us again in the future and allow us the opportunity to alter the negative impression gained and provide a memorable and relaxing holiday experience as so many other reviewers are describing and we are renowned for.Our Warmest Regards,
