This property is amazing. The view is breathtaking, every night we get to enjoy the sunset. Walking distance to shopping centers, restaurants, mini markets. The owner, George and staff are amazing. It is far from the busy areas where bars and some nice restaurants are, taxi is needed. But it is perfect for us bc its far from the noise.

A beautiful property, so well kept and run so well. We stayed for 5 nights and hated to leave! Beautiful caldera views but not on a path where people walked by all day. The breakfast was incredible, walking distance to so many restaurants. The staff could not have been kinder and more helpful. Only 4 rooms, all with beautiful views. The pool was great to cool off in after a day of walking around town in the heat. Just a lovely place!!

This is probably the best hotel I have every stayed at in all my travels around the world. The staff treats you like family. They were so kind and helpful. The property is amazing! I wish I could live there! This is the best property on the whole island.

Words cannot begin to describe the way my wife and I felt staying here. The people made us feel special, better than family. The breakfast was incredible. Deliver each day when you wanted it and how you wanted it. It was special. The rooms were extremely clean and the views breathtaking. Sunrise or Sunset we felt we were always in paradise. Special thanks to George and his staff whom helped us with cancelations of excursions, special meals and transfers. If you really want something special please call direct and ask for George and inquire about the Cave House. For my wife’s birthday and our 42nd anniversary the Cave House was a Hallmark event. This was truly the stop of a lifetime and made our trip. Thank you George!

Giorgis is very helpful. Thanks to Nicholi for bringing our luggages down and up in our room. Breakfast was also good. Upstairs room is comfortable, but main area and bathroom is cold, but manageable. Thanks again for the warm welcome.

This hotel was amazing! We had a late flight in but Giorgios still met with us late at night to show us to our suite. All staff were very friendly and welcoming. We stayed in the ostria suite and the view was amazing, right at the edge of the cliff. A fantastic huge breakfast was brought to us every morning. Would definitely stay here again if we return.

Wonderful in every way. The room was comfortable and spacious, the pool was fun, we never wanted to leave the terrace, the breakfast was large and delicious and the staff was extremely helpful with everything we needed. It's also located far enough from the madness of Fira to feel somewhat private but very close to everything. And the views are incredible. I can't recommend Ikastikies enough.

Where to start, the property is situated in an ideal location, not far from Fira but far enough for a good night sleep. From the check-in to the check-out, the customer service provided by the staff is amazing. George is an amazing host, he greets you when arriving to the hotel and makes sure throughout your stay that nothing is missing. From bringing you coffee early morning while you’re watching the volcano view from the balcony followed by a delicious breakfast. The suites are very well maintained and the views are breathtaking, an unforgettable dreaming stay and will definitely return again.

This is one of the most spectacular boutique hotels we have ever stayed in! Stunning views, luxury with a relaxed feel, beautiful clean and comfortable rooms and excellent location. The owner of the property, Giorgos, made our stay one of the best experiences we've had traveling. He was so thoughtful, kind, helpful and all around lovely that we'd go back to stay there any chance we can get. I could not more highly recommend this place!

Beautiful property with breathtaking views, made epic by the kindness and hospitality of the owner & staff. If I could, I rate Ikastikies 10-stars. The property is small, and boutique-like, with elegant rooms and furnishings. Amenities are top-notch, and the view is absolutely incredible. All of this would be enough for a 5-star rating, but when you factor in George, the owner, you wind up with a 10-star stay. Others have noted George's energy and kindness, and he exceeded any and all expectations. Did he make us feel like family? Absolutely - I can't explain how much George elevated our entire visit to Santorini. If more people were like George, the world would be a better place - and that's not an exaggeration. Stay at Ikastikies Suites - you won't regret it.

This was quite possibly one of the best places I have stayed in the world. We stayed in a cave room with private pool, the room was huge, comfortable and the pool with view was amazing. George is hands down the best hotel owner ever. He was so attentive, gracious, courteous and a pleasure. My kids loved going to tell him we were ready for our en-suite breakfast each morning. We will definitely be returning to Ikastikeis Suites soon, and I can’t recommend this place enough!!

Amazing Suites perfect vacation!
We are a couple that stayed in Ikastikies Suites for 4 days during October. The suites were just perfect, starting from the great location (to my opinion- the best location in the island). The suites are close to excellent restaurants and the view from the room - just breathtaking. The pictures on the website reflect very well the real condition of the suites: the level of cleanliness is perfect. The breakfast is rich, fresh and delicious. Last and most important: The hosts. They were the best we could have dreamed of. They were very worm, helpful & added joy to the atmosphere... We enjoyed very much to stay in “Ikastikies suites” and we definitely plan to come back again.

The most beautiful amazing place in Santorini. The best host in town. The Room was absolutely amazing with a one of a kind view. Can’t thank the host enough for such an amazing stay here. Great breakfast great service everything is 10/10. And probably the best location on the island because you’ll be in the middle of It all and easy access to everything near by. Highly recommend and I know I will be back to this exact location in the near future.

View is amazing, location amazing, service is beyond amazing. Breakfast in your privet patio. Good size privet pool. This was a surprised find. We were forced to stay one extra night due to flight cancellations, but the hotel turn our misery wonderful. If there’s any improvement needed, I would say floor tiles is a bit dated ;p

Lovely place with top notch service
Our stay at Ikastikies was truly special. The hotel is small with only three rooms plus a larger apartment. It is located right at the centre of Firostefani. We stayed at the Ostria room. This has a private balcony above the room. You can enjoy an unobstructed sunset from up there. The hotel felt very private. We were served delicious breakfast to the room every morning. The owner, Giorgios, was super friendly and helpful. This was customer service at another level. You can’t go wrong with this place. Be prepared to walk some stairs but that goes for most of Santorini.

First off, this place is absolutely gorgeous. In addition, it was literally the best service I've ever had at any resort stay. The breakfast is amazing, the staff went out of their way to accommodate any request we had and even offered to drive us to a photo shoot in the next town over. We were so impressed and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Can't wait to go back!

The great reviews about this property pale in comparison to be physically there. The place is amazing, fantastic views, comfortable suites, outstanding breakfast served in your room or next to the pool. My family and I selected this hotel because we had read good reviews about it. Indeed it was the right choice! Great service was extended to us even before our holiday started - Giorgos was very helpful in providing information that we needed to do our planning. He also followed up and attended to our transportation needs prior to our arrival and departure. He was patient in addressing all our questions. Hotel has beautiful caldera and sea view. Location is great - within walking distance from Fira town and the bus terminal (I would recommend renting a car though as it is easy to drive around). As we celebrated our child's birthday as well as wedding anniversary during our stay in Santorini, it was a pleasant surprise to find a bouquet of flowers and special breakfast prepared for us on the day of my child's birthday. Albert was also a great help with our heavy luggage and early morning check out when we left. Thank you Giorgos and team for making our stay truly enjoyable and memorable! We hope to be back some day in the future, and will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

My family and I (spouse and 2 6 year old girls) stayed in the 2 bedroom suite with a private pool in October and loved it. The views were exceptional and the rooms are very well appointed. The terrace and pool area are also very relaxing and it was so nice to wake up to breakfast every morning on your terrace. The service was outstanding and we have stayed as some of the best resorts in the world. While it is a small hotel, it felt like we were at a Four Seasons resort in terms of the service. For breakfast one day my daughter wanted pancakes (and the breakfast spread was exceptional in terms of qualify and selection) they immediately made them for her and brought them every morning. The location is also excellent as it is a short walk to the major town without the hustle and bustle of the big town. I would highly recommend this place and will be back for sure.

I’m overwhelmed with this property, location is 10 out of 10, I walked around Santorini and been telling my friend and sons that we picked the perfect hotel, aside from its perfect location, the staff Albert and his wife are very very kind, they give you the assistance that you need immediately. They are Very hospitable and polite. The owner also introduced himself and made sure that we will enjoy our stay. We definitely did! We have this very fancy breakfast and offered us drinks which is very nice. I also booked for two adults when it is total of four of us, I didn’t mind paying for the extra two since it was a mistake, but the owner didn’t charge me for extra two. That was very nice of him, the hotel is private, has four amazing designed rooms, kitchen complete so in case you need coffee or brought food with you, there is kitchen utensils to use, pool is right outside your door, where you can actually swim. Its very peaceful, quiet, private, views are amazing! You get a cheap price for what you get in this hotel. I have no complains, I’m very very happy, worth every penny. I will definitely choose this hotel again when I come back. Recommending this hotel to everyone who’s planning a trip to Santorini. I’m very critic person and I don’t find myself complimenting as much. But for this hotel, I will mAke exception. AMAZING VIEWS!
The hotel was amazing, with gorgeous views of the Caldera and prime location, surrounded by good restaurants. To get to some rooms you have to go down as much as 87 steps, not for everyone but again amazing views, and all worth it! Pools not kid friendly. Staff is amazing- nice and helpful. Breakfast was excellent and plenty!
