Relaxing Getaway
This house was perfect for 3 families. Our teenage sons enjoyed the space downstairs to relax away from the adults. Everything we needed was supplied, plenty of cookware and crockery. It was great not having to bring our own linen and towels as well. Rosemary was very easy to deal with and a great host. Thanks for sharing your home with us Rosemary, we hope to stay again!

Goolwa getaway
Perfect location and stunning views. Large sized property with all the amenities. Would have been a star in its day. It is feeling quite worn though; needs a deep clean, lick of paint and some maintenance on the property. Once it's had a bit of maintenance and love I'd stay there again in a heartbeat.

Thankyou for your comments ,I am having workman arriving on Monday to work on the house. .It has been heavily booked so haven't been able to do any work or spring cleaning . Now have workman available and have crossed the house off ,so without bookings can hopefully make the house a five star property again .

A wonderfully appointed home that is a stone's throw from the beach.
Fantastic panoramic views to be enjoyed in all weather conditions. The pool table was a hit with the kids as were the two lounge areas - plenty of room. There were ample provisions in both kitchens as well as appliances. The beds were very comfortable. Host was very responsive and helpful. A wonderful location to relax and unwind. Thank you so very much.

We enjoyed staying here, with an extended family of nine, there was lots to do. Snooker table and chess sets, or just lounging in the two living rooms. it was very close to the beach and there was also a restaurant 2 mins away.

Great Stay
Stayed here for 4 nights with 2 other couples. Plenty of space to spread out and a bathroom for each couple. The kitchen was well equiped with anything you might need. The pool table downstairs got a good work out. There are a lot of stairs so if you are mobility impaired this may prove a problem. Only a 2 min walk to thre Goolwa surf life saving club which serves drinks and meals Thursday to Sunday. Rosemary was a perfect host . Excellent communication.

Conveniently located close to the beach
The house is indeed the closest one to the beach - literally just off the entrance of Goolwa beach. It is good for large groups - plenty of space for everyone. The pool table was a great bonus as we’ve used it most of the time. The rooms were inviting and cozy. Whole house could do with a little bit of spring cleaning, but overall, we have enjoyed our stay. Rosemary has been very accommodating and kind from first contact and even after we’ve checked out. No doubt, we’ll be back again. 👍

Incredible family holiday experience
We all absolutely loved our stay in this home it had everything we needed and more. Each room was cleaned and fresh towels and linen were provided. The views of the ocean from the main rooms, the lounge room and balcony were so beautiful and the sunsets were incredible. My children have requested we always stay in this home and I also agree, we can’t wait to come back again. Strongly recommend to anyone thinking of staying here

Great location - in need of some TLC
Great location obviously right next to the beach the pool table was a hit and we could have our dogs with us. The house needs some love it is looking very tired and wouldn’t take much to spruce it up with a good paint job repairs to kitchen etc and just general maintenance. We did have to clean grubby kitchen cupboards but house was tidy. I know it was a quick turn around with occupancy just would have liked it to be cleaner. Advertised as all queens but the small upstairs bedroom only has a double which definitely needs to be replaced it creaked all night and there were slats missing. We ended up spacing out the slats and getting the kids to sleep in there instead of the adults.

The house has been very busy with continual bookings for several months. I have booked a painter for next month as the winter months are when we can paint and do general repairs . The double bed is being replaced with a new expensive double bed. The bedding is 1king bed,3 queens,1 double and 1 bunk bed.

Proximity to Beach can't be beat
We were a group of three families and the property was great at acommodating this number through combination of bedrooms and separation of living areas (parents and kids). The house is showing some of its age and wear which is undestandable especially given its proximity to the beach. For our group, the proximity to the bikeway and the beach was superb.

Fantastic location, property layout and things available very good, quality and age of some of the fittings tired and sometimes a problem which my wife has fed back. Owner comms were excellent and have no issue in staying again especially if some of the tings raised were fixed/ remedied. very enjoyable weekend

Wonderful property for large group of friends. Location is excellent, although anyone staying in busy summer periods should consider its proximity to the Goolwa Beach car park and main access road (may be busy / noisy). Rosemary was terrific to deal with for booking and pre-arrival.

Thankyou for being a wonderful guest. Over the Christmas period the car park is busy, ,but the noise does not reach the house. All the guests love it and rebook as they have only a minute walk to the beach ,not like most holiday houses in Goolwa that need to drive and find a car park. Being the closest house to Goolwa Beach is a great advantage and it has always been very quiet.,because of the waves,the sea is all that is heard, even in summer.

A group of friends and I stayed before a wedding down south. The house had all the the amenities which made it easy with multiple couples staying. It was great to have condiments and access to some cleaning supples for our stay too. Check in was a bit clunky. No information about key location was sent so we had to contact the owner through stayz, but once contacted Rosemary was fantastic!

70th birthday Celebration
Location outstanding with 2 separate living entertainment areas that suited all ages. Even with inclement weather the property was large enough to cope with the family. The ladies were a little disappointed with the cleanliness and remarked that a good spring clean would certainly make a good home into a great home.

Lovely big house with wonderfull views. Plenty of chairs and tables on both floors and loved the pool table and giant chess set. Bedrooms were all well presented and enough bathrooms for the size of house.
