“not impressed”

I arrived at the motel hoping the lie down for a while as I had a headache but I was told that I was to early and that the room was not cleaned as yet, so I am not Impressed with the greeting I received upon arrival. I left then returned a few hours latter to be greeted by a different person who was excellent. i am very unimpressed with the greeting I was given upon arrival, as I could not see why I could have not been giving a different room, as there were very few car at the motel even latter in the evening I was the only person or car in sight.

“spacious room we will visit again”

All excellent size rooms with shade areas outside each room. Great gym and swimming pool. All rooms easy to get to no stairs to drag suitcases up. Excellent buffet breakfast available. Restuarant meals available some evenings, unfortunately this was closed while we were there.

Area recommendations

Ballarat is a city with plenty for everyone, no matter what age

Must see

Soverign Hill, both by day and the sound and light show at night. Local theatre also has plenty to see. If you like sport, check out the Ballarat Miners. It's always a great night

“First Impression....”

Our first trip to Ballarat was a very good experience especially after a days' tour coming back to our spacious room and unwinding felt nice. The hotel was quite close to the main part of town which had all the eateries and other convenience stores. Would definitely recommend it to all.
