“A great get-away place”
The Ben Miller Inn was quiet and cozy. The accommodations were more than adequate - remember this is an inn, not a big city hotel. The restaurant was wonderful for dinner and the breakfast included in the package can't be beat. We will certainly return.
“Heaven”
Best place to forget everything. Beautiful place to unwind and relax. Pool is nice, hot tub too! Rooms are awesome and none are the same!! Dinner is the best food I've had anywhere!
“Will go again in the future”
Wonderful grounds and surroundings. Relaxing atmosphere. Good service.
“Beautiful Old Inn”
This was a quick, overnight stay for us - one adult, three grown children - on our way to Tobermory. Chose it because decent accommodations can be hard to come by in this part of Ontario, and Ben Miller comes highly recommended. We wish we had been able to stay longer. The grounds were beautiful, the room very comfy, the breakfast area quaint and the food yummy! Wish we had had time for the pool and spa. (It is an old Inn, so if you're partial to "modern", this may not be the place for you!) Only problem was at checkout: BM has a 2-night minimum this time of year which Expedia told me would be waved for Expedia reservations. At checkout, they tried to enforce the 2 night minimum, but when I explained the above, they said they would take it up with Expedia. So far, we have only been charged for the one night. So if you go, be sure to check this out beforehand.
“Great country setting”
This hotel is set out in the country which means you do not have a lot of city noise. It is set in different buildings(old homes purchased and fixed up and added to)so you have to walk(can drive if weather poor)to the dinning room. Great place to relax, walking trails,a perfect get a way.
“Definitely will return!”
We went for a night away from the kids! Quiet, wonderful scenery, and an amazing restaurant. One tip - request a pond view rather than river view. The Gledhill House rooms are best.
“Perfect for a short get-away”
This hotel is a definite go-back-and-stay-again. The scenery is perfect for a retreat from work and stress, staff are friendly and helpful. The restaurant offered us excellent food and the room was cozy.
“Benmiller Inn & Spa - a great retreat spot”
Visited the Benmiller for the first time this past weekend, for a Girls Getaway with some friends. We had an excellent stay. We were in the Glenmiller Building, 2nd floor, overlooking the Millpond at the building's edge - serene! Thoroughly enjoyed the Inn's cuisine (we ate both dinner and lunch at the main dining hall) as well as the hot tub/pool/sauna. During the day we set off on the network of hiking trails right by the lodge... excellent. All in all, a wonderful getaway from the city. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay, would book another stay again (and likely will). Recommended.
“Very Quaint.”
The hotel is dated but still in fairly good condition, It needs some cleanup around the hotel, but overall was nice.
“SPECIAL PLACE TO BE”
If you are looking for a uniquely different hideaway in a relaxing environment with opportunity for exercise( a lovely pool and delightful walks) high quality food, you will not find better. Enjoy.
