We stayed here primarily to experience the dark sky reserve and the night sky was spectacular. Check-in was swift and the room simple, but clean and warm.
Like the communal kitchen and shower room. But we could only rinse without shampoo as there was no indication or reminder that no shampoo and body soap is provided for .
Convenient location after or before flight to Mt Cook / Tasman Glacier - great views of Mt Cook & mountains from the park.
Usual issues with camp kitchen being over run but we had our own electric frypan, so had the full BBQ shed to ourselves :-)
Facilities & rooms were well kept / clean.

It was as expected. Basic accommodation that meets the needs. Sheets are very nice. Better value than Mt Cook Village.
Superb location, great staff.
Lovely & clean overall, new showers & toilets.
Kitchen facilities a bit dated, tired & worn out, some non-functioning electric rings.
In need of a makeover & a new microwave.
Good as stay at this property really friendly staff at a fantastic price. Warm cosy rooms and warm showers - would happily stay there again. Really close to great walks at Mt Cook too!
Thanks team
Beautiful spot that had great facilities. I have come here on and off over last twenty years and was super impressed with the bathroom and bbq upgrades. Is best spot for the trip to the magnificent Mt Cook
Half the stoves/elements in the kitchen were not functioning properly. Our laundry was drenched coming out the washing machine following a cycle, had to squeeze the water myself, took 60mins in the dryer and was still so damp and becoming smelly. Had to give up after spending 14$ for nothing for the laundry….. do you washing before coming!!!
Beautiful scenery
Comfortable and clean
Would definitely stay again

Good for campers, not for those wanting the comfort of even a basic motel. One power point in room. Clean but old bedding. In addition, wasn’t clear (perhaps an Expedia issue) that showers were in a separate block outside with no towels provided.
A great affordable access point to Aoraki and Lake Pukaki. Basic rooms and amenities. But everything works well and everyone was friendly. We even were able to charge our electric car which was lovely and very helpful.
We were able to walk down to Lake Pukaki. The owner was very personable and friendly.
The walls between the rooms are pretty thin, so I could hear every word that the neighbours said.
The weather was perfect - Mt Cook looked fantastic on the beautiful clear blue sky and no wind for 2 days - views from kitchen area and cabin. No big crowds. Very well maintained camp - must come back again when we have opportunity.
Convenient, great views into Mt Cook was a total bonus. Spacious cabin with fully functional kitchen. And to know the area Georgia at reception was incredible, knowledgeable and truly cared about her guests experience!
