Property location was fantastic and hotel was clean and great value for money. Staff were fantastic and helpful. Only negatives were no parking but there was street parking and paid parking nearby. Also the nearby nightclubs were quiet loud, but I am not a light sleeper and slept through. Would definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay on a budget.
I think The Electric is great value for money. The room I had was huge. Decent ensuite. King bed was very comfortable. Only issue was the TV as no free to air and the WiFi kept cutting out.

Seriously outstanding! The room was definitely nicer than one of the big hotels. Decor was just gorgeous. The high ceilings in room 15 are beautiful, as long as you can overlook how bright it was in the morning. Won't stay anywhere else when next we visit Geelong.

Couldn’t have picked a better spot to stay for the night. The Electric was close and in walking distance to all the places my friends and I planned to go! The room was clean and tidy, had a mini fridge, kettle, tea, and a jug of water. When picking up the keys, Jon clearly explained everything from how to get in, suggested places to eat and bars to visit for the night, and explained the process of checking out. I will definitely be coming back!

Good for a stopover.
Very simple but perfect location. Check in and check out were easy. Bed was very hard, the club behind us kept us up on the Wednesday night. Not a bad place if you just need a stop over whilst exploring the surrounds.

Clean, large sized room. Easy check-in, but be mindful that keys are picked up approx 10 minutes walk from the hotel. Major problem was that the skylight does not have any shade blinds. We stayed mid-summer, so the room was bright at 05:30am! Impossible to sleep, so I wouldn't stay here again for this reason.

location is perfect, close to public transport, shops, beach and restaurants. hotel staff is friendly too. there was a drainage issue in the shower of our room, issue was reflected to the hotel staff, thankfully we were given a different room on our last night. Thank you, would definitely recommend Electric.

Newly renovated hotel. Self-service check-in, very cleaned room and great location in the heart of Geelong CBD. Highly recommended and we will stay there again next time in Geelong.

Relaxed comfy stay.
Stairs and no lift. No tea making facilities, microwave or fridge. AOK if you want to eat out. Clean and comfortable. Key pick up was around the corner where local information was supplied about venue, parking and surrounds. Central location.

Sorry Patricia - you did selected the very cheapest Room that IS noisy on Friday and Saturday Unfortunately the Council are still dealing with the Noise issue.We will Not allow booking of this Room on those nights

The gentleman at check in was awesome - so friendly and accomodating. Really nice guy. The room is in a central location, however is close to two nightclubs that okay very loud music till early hours of the morning - so extremely difficult to sleep. My room had a dirty tissue in it, and the bathroom flooded after showering. Okay for a one night stay though 👍

there was no service desk at the address, we found out by accident that the key had to be picked up from another address and then we had a run around trying to find the shop store to pick up key was giving the wrong address. pick up key from 142 Little Malop street. staff was nice enough; room was nice size and clean. was disappointed to find that there were only tea bags provided, no sugar milk or coffee. however, lots of eateries and pubs surrounding the area. easy access to transport and the GMHBA stadium. looks like the area is being updated and renovated as there is a lot of construction on surrounding buildings.

Thank you Karen (that is SO appropriate! ) but our message out on Booking tells you there is a Key Pick up. It is important YOU read the details and not blame others for not checking. If we had a desk for such a small venue the room night would have to be many moreWe do not want to offer 1 tea - why not go to Cartel for beautiful Coffee or one of their special Teas - it is 50 metres away. There is a renewal of this area - led by our 20 Room private Hotel, The Works at Moorabool Street (120 metres away ) is looking great and the new Place next to Caruggi - ( 90 metres away) is also a great project to refresh this dynamic area

The Electric is perfect for a stay if you plan to be out and about most of the time. Room was very clean and comfortable but with minimal facilities which was fine for us as we were really only sleeping there. It was also very quiet at night. Note that Room 1 has no windows so may be claustrophobic for some. There is no parking on site but there is a car park a short walk away on Little Ryrie St which is free on the weekends.

Electric hotel is super convenient to the centre of Geelong. The rooms were clean comfortable and beautifully fitted out. Michael was friendly and helpful when we picked up the keys. I didn’t expect kitchen facilities, but a kettle and some teabags would lift the rating. Also coming back I thik I'd pay a few extra dollars for a room with a window.

I stayed at The Electric on a Saturday night recently and I was very pleased with it. It was a good price for a Saturday night, it was very clean and it seems to be pretty new. It is in an excellent position with its rear door off an alley leading from Lt Malop St where the pub and eatery action appears to be centred. I appreciated the heavy sound-blocking door on the room. One point is that you need to pick up the keys from the office a few blocks away, rather than go directly to the accommodation, but it was only a few minutes walk. I would stay there again.
