Nice reception/sitting area. Useful car parking. Easy access into the city using the tram a couple of mins away but very little around the hotel. Room was more disappointing and not as well equipped as it could have been. The fridge was crammed into a cupboard which was difficult to open/close. Bathroom was a bit grubby (see photo). We were unable to check out the spa as access was locked and keycard didn’t work - as it was short stay, we didn’t enquire at reception. Stay was fine for one night but not sure I’d stay longer and feel that the existing ratings are a little generous.

Clerici hotel is in a perfect location. On a quiet street next to everything. Very well-appointed hotel. Comfortable bed and with elevator. Would definitely stay here again.

"Had supper one evening. Was going to go out but decided to stay at the hotel. Big mistake, it was awful! Mainly some salads, and ran out of main course. When they did replenish it was cold. Ended up still going out to eat."

"The breakfast is great The rooms are basic and they took our towels and didn’t replace them and when we spoke to reception they said we could pay €5 for the use of another one The upkeep of the building is a health and safety risk as the paving stones are broken around the pool.
