"This a a truly delightful stay. We were here during the Christmas week with our two boys. The house is less than five minutes walk from the Eguisheim village center and it was a very convenient place and with all the amenities for a relaxing stay. This area is also a good base to visit other parts of Alsace and the Black Forest region of Germany and even parts of Switzerland such as Interlaken. "

"At first the owner could not meet us the agreed at check-in time. We had to protest in order to check-in as planned. The we were criticised for the state of the property, by mail after we had left , - the owner were not present at check-out time. We had only slept, eaten breakfast and showered."

Martin and Petra could not have been more gracious hosts! They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and had everything we might need. Already looking forward to our next visit! "In a small village. Very spacious and clean. The owners were extremely friendly and gave advice and directions where required for supermarkets and boulanger. There are church bells that ring all night and a Cockerell that greets you every morning..but all adds to the charm of the area. Fantastic laundry room. Nice patio area outside. Your car is in a parking area off road bit not behind gates as picture suggests. All appeared very safe. The owner is the local mayor!"

"We just returned today from a 5-day stay at Siebenfelsen. The host family was very hospitable and generally welcoming. The house is immaculately clean and lovingly and thoughtfully decorated. The street the house is on a two lovely Gasthäuser within walking distance and is only a short drive away from the main village of Elzach, which is just gorgeous. We highly recommend staying here and would love to be back again in the future."

"We had an amazing week-end visiting Europa Park and Rulantica. The hause is very confortable and with a lot of space and equipements for 6 people. The family Sarmento Borges are very kindly and available for any question we had. They gave us goods advices for our stay in the area. We hope we'll come back soon to visit Eatrenalin :-)"

"We share the positive reviews of many aspects of this property. It's very spacious (although the swing of some doors cause odd pinch points). We were only three, and would have used only the ground floor but for an issue (see later). The kitchen is well equipped, the induction stovetop was great to cook on. The location is properly noted, but Marie's L'épicerie in the village was closed for August vacation. (Which I imagine is an annual event.) That meant we needed to drive 6+ km for morning...

"Bonjour super séjour en alsace. Maison décorée avec goût et c’est tout neuf, bien située pour visites . Par contre beaucoup de vis à vis dans séjour et sûrement plus en été si on profite du dehors. Revoir aussi les matelas dans 2 chambres, trop mous et dommage qu’il n’y ai pas 2 salles de bain. Propriétaire très sympa. Je recommande"

"We have stayed at many VRBOs before and this was one of the nicest ones. It was a bit more remote than the description "Schopfheim" suggests but you can see it if you actually look at the map. It is perfect if you are into hiking and the outdoors. We were there with three generations: us, our kids and our grandkids. This place is not really set up for a one and a two-year old but it worked. I had communicated with the host ahead of time that they don't have any kid safety items there. So if you...

"Neighbourhood was great with proximity to forest paths, river and the famous Titisee and Schluchsee. The "detached quiet cottage for 4" left a lot to be desired. Transparency on costs per night: apparently price on Vrbo is for 2 persons, with each additional person at 15.80USD per night on my booking. Cleanliness: Living room sofa was full of hair from a previous occupant. The bed in the childrens room had traces of confetti or sweets from a previous occupant. Communication: Nothing...

"Very clean. Comfortable bed with extra blankets and sheets. Easy parking out the front. Shower was awkward due to the sloping ceiling, and the resulting shower curtain arrangement. Location and proximity to the highway were excellent for us. Good supermarket a short drive or good walk away. "
