Moldy smell when you walk into the lobby and in the rooms. My room was small, crammed, with old furniture and mattress. The smell of mold was strong. I had to wash all my clothes and air out my luggage and bags to get the smell out. The updated rooms were more tolerable than the room I got.

Excelente custo-beneficio
Excelente hotel em termos de custo-benefício... boa localização, quarto com bom espaço, excelente café da manhã, atendimento muito bom, banheiro amplo e com boa ducha, amenites de boa qualidade, cama ótima... Enfim, um ótimo hotel para tarifa de USD 80,00 o casal. Para melhorar, apenas remover de algum forma o cheiro de umidade dos quartos em razão da proximidade com o mar.

Don't stay if having a rental
I loved the hotel, but parking the rental was a problem, so I most likely will not stay there again if I'm renting a car.

We flight in from Miami and got there super early, the front desk a lady which I forgot her name, helped us getting to our room earlier, upgraded us, and let us enjoy the breakfast. We were tired from our flight and it was really appreciated. Lot of choices for breakfast, the view from our room was amazing. The shower was hot and strong. Very secure and everyone ready to help if needed. There is a pharmacy next to it, you cross the street and the beach is there. During the day is quiet, but at night there is more movement and stores are open. We did not have any problem with construction noise, as we noticed in another reviews. Maybe it was before we arrived. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Hot Water Did Not Work During My Stay!
The hot water did not work which was a big disappointment. I do not do cold showers. At check-out I communicated this to the attendant, he shrugged - and then proceed to say, "you owe 5 reais for a bottle of water." That tells you everything about the terrible service.

Wonderful Stay
Customer Service was amazing!! Shout out to wonderful lady that works there (she seems to be the manager - I am sorry I didn't memorize your name!) The only thing I need to report is that the room is smaller than advertised here on this site, but it is nevertheless comfortable, clean with great view.

CONSTRUCTION NOISE! - Major renovation in hotel
LOUD CONSTRUCTION NOISE in hotel for next 5 years! If you sleep past 8am you will be awoke by heavy construction on 6 floors. They already did renovate 3 floor that took 2 years….so next 5 years will be loud and unpleasant after 8am. I just stayed there for 6 days. I suggest to stay away until they are done. You can call reception and they will confirm that they are under major renovations

Stay away from hotel due to CONSTRUCTION NOISE!
Stay away from hotel due to CONSTRUCTION NOISE! This hotel is doing a major update of 6 floors that will take 5 years ( they already did 3 floors that took 2 years). LOUD CONTRUCTION NOISE BEGINS AT 8am each morning and is horrible. I called to tell them and still construction noise persists. I Stayed there for 6 days. Truely sucks.

A LOT OF SERVICES WERE CLOSED
The city had shut down abruptly as I was making my trip but unlike Rio de Janeiro it was completely shut down and I really didn't have the time to enjoy the hotel or anything around it. For this reason I didn't even like Fortaleza

The hotel is directly across the street from the beach. We had a room with a balcony facing the water. The view was beautiful! They are building a new public space on the beach so there is construction in the street and the beach. Staff is excellent, the room and bath were very clean. wish they had microwave. There is a small fridge they have stocked with snacks that are chargeable to the room. Have stay here previously and would stay again. Great price also!

The hotel is in a great location, right across from the beach. Despite the construction right in front of the hotel, you still have access to the beach and the boardwalk. There are restaurants and shops walking distance. The rooms are nice and clean and spacious. I deeply recommend this hotel for your visit to Fortaleza.

Quick stay in Fortaleza
Great location, plenty of beaches and activities. The hotel has amazing views of the beach. Only two negatives were that it was the hardest bed I've slept in, in Brasil, and the AC didn't work as well as it could have. But there was plenty of Hot water, the room was very clean, I loved the little fruit plate they left int he room on our arrival. its small things like welcome gifts that make a hotel stand out as they care about their guests. Check-in was smooth and the staff very friendly. I would stay here again.

Considering all the hotels in the region, this is good. Don’t expect a luxury resort - there aren’t any in the area. Great staff, good food, clean rooms. The computer (used to check in and change flights etc) is slower than my dialup connection 20 years ago - don’t even bother, it will drive you nuts. The biggest downfall is the construction right in front of it. It’s loud, messy, traffic is a jam, the market got moved to Iracema Beach ... and for whatever reason nobody bothers to tell the customers about it. I would stay here again once the construction/street repair is done (sometime 2020).

Wonderful place to stay!
We had a good time! The staff are very polite, we had some air conditioning problem because was too cold, they fixed it immediately! Location wonderful! The view unbelievable beautiful! The breakfast was Great, a lot of variety off food!
