"The worst two nights of my life in a hotel ever! Our room was over the bar (not identified anywhere during reservations). Music and partying until 4 am. Zero sleep. Second night, the shared balcony had drunk party-ers right outside door until 2 am. Walls and ceilings so thin we heard everything…. And I do mean everything!! This hotel used to be a nice place that is so convenient to the jetty. We loved staying there for the convenience in the past. Never again!!! I will give up the convenience. It is run down and you are on your own once you get there because there is no longer a hotel front office. To even get to the beach, you have to walk your kids through a narrow space in one of the outside bars. This room was not cheap either. $168 per night for misery. Don’t do it! Oh, and on the first night I fell going down the stairs (no elevators but we did know that in advance) but it is pit dark on all stairways, zero lighting of any kind and I missed the last step. Didn’t break any bones but couldn’t walk in the sand for the rest of my stay…not happy about that either. On the way out, we saw another woman do the same thing. Stay away for this misfit. The only good thing about it was the outdoor restaurant which had excellent food and perfect spot for watching all the jetty action."
