“great for the price”
very relaxing hotel nothing is too much for the staff, great location for all the local attractions , wish we could have stayed longer
“Riverside Hotel”
Very nice hotel with a fantastic location. Perfect for all activities in and around Las Olas.
“A must stay.”
Excellent rooms, great location. Service was outstanding as were the on site facilities. the business room was provided at no charge so we could print out boarding passes, but the printer was from the dark ages.
“Fort Lauderdale - Las Olas Blvd - Riverside Hotel”
Se stayed in the older part of the hotel, rooms were good size, bathroom workeable, work space adequate (not that you do much of that in FL). Staff were very friendly and courteous, went the extra yard for any questions or requests. Only shortfall (of the older section) is that the WiFi signal is weak and the room lacks enough easily accessible outlets for modern travelling electronics.
“river by the fort lauderdale oceon hotel”
buffet was cold in morning: ) waiter was very nice //pool closed at 8 pm : ) wanted a swim : ) oh well room was comfy ordered a king bed got put in a double then complained n was put in a king bed suite : ) love the old fashioned hotel and quick bell hops ..: ) in the heart of all shopping and food area . very romantic safe stroll in the evening hours : )
“Hotel on the Champs Elysees of Fort Lauderdale”
Older hotel perfectly restored with great location right on the Champs Elysees of Fort Lauderdale (Las Olas). Hotel staff and resturant outstanding and food reasonably priced. Numerous shops and restaurants on the bouelvard. Hotel also has a nice pool and and patio overlooking New River. Water taxis are available a block away for transportation to the beach via New River and the Intracoastal waterway, giving you an inexpensive sightseeing tour of the town from the water.
“The Riverside Hotel a Real Bargin on upscale Hotel”
The Riverside was everything we expected. I looked at what seemed like every hotel in Ft.Lauderdale and this was by far the most reasonable with the most bang for the buck. Located on Las Olas....very conveniently located to some very upscale shopping and within 3 blocks of the beach. We were informed upon check in that the pool would be closed due to a car accident. One of the main reasons I booked the hotel was the pool...so we simply went to the Harbor Beach Hilton...walked in headed to the beachfront pool and had a blast. The parking at the Riverside is expensive...so we simply parked 1 street over at a rate of $5.00 per day ( if you leave you pay again, but still cheaper then the hotel. Food was great and decent on prices. Lot's of great places to eat on 17th street that are VERY affordable with fantastic portions. The Bahia Cabana is on the water at Bahia Mar Marina good prices and huge portions..and I'm a big eater. ( Not a family hotel...couples or business only )
“lauderdale auction”
Great value.downtown.Water taxi behind property ,you can take it to the beach or whisky river. The breakfast is best in town and there is an intalian bakery across the street if you want coffie an pastrey.Staff has prefected NICE without overdoing. My frinds had a dog and they have some rooms in a seperate part of the hotel for that purpose.parking is expensive 23.oo per day.The airport tax is 33.00 per day.Taxie to hotel is 28.00 plus tip.Go to the hotel and the rental company will bring you a car any time you want. Lauderdale was VERY quite when I was there. You probabably could get a deal if your plans were flexable.Mine were not[ business]
“Enjoyed our stay”
We stayed in the newer tower...I heard the rooms in the older part are smaller. Guests should be aware that the pool is across the street from the hotel. This hotel is very convenient for those wanting to visit the shops and restaurants of Las Olas.
“Such a Romantic Site”
The hotel is right in the heart of things in Fort Lauderdale. The walk on Los Olas was fun and offered shopping, eating and nightlife. We had to drive to the beach but then we are not big beach people so that wasn't a big deal. The swimming pool was very nice. Riverwalk is a short walk away as well as the Art Museum.
