“Unbelievable views!!!!”

This hotels is set in an idyllic Tuscan village (Marcialla) in Chianti country. Short drive from the likes of Florence, San Gimignano and Siena. It is a converted villa, beautiful pool with absolutely STUNNING views. Even hotel website pictures do not do this scenery justice, the high location accompanied with beautiful tuscan weather meant that on the clearest day we could see the spires of San Gimignano about 35K away from our room. Hotel exterior may not look up to much but inside is beatuifully maintained with classic furniture throughout and immaculate cleanliness. Pool is beautiful but lookout for mosquitos in afternoon/evening sun, bring some bug spray!!!! Breakfast was a good selection of croissants, cereals juices and so on, coffee machine was broken so instead we were supplied with beautiful coffees from the bar. Restaurant was closed during our stay in August but 2 restaurants in the village were great. The location of the hotel is superb provided you have a car, you can day trip to many local towns and vineyards and you'll love the tranquility of the hotel, not recommended if you are using public transport. Highly recommended hotel, lovely staff, surroundings and views, on a side note pre-plan a good route to get you to the hotel or book sat nav with a hire car. We had a pre printed AA routeplanner which took us to a completely different village and italy roadmaps are not detailed enough to recognise the required roads.

“EXCELLENT VIEWS”

No issues with flights or car rental . Hotel standard surprised us both for a 3 star it was excellent , the views over the Tuscan hills were fantastic !!
