“Nice hotel”

Excellent, quiet location. Good breakfast. Nice, helpful staff. Only problem is the very small shower.

“Close to train station”

We arrived in Florence by train and it was just a few short blocks to this hotel. It is also close to the Duomo, Central Market, and the Galleria dell Accademia. The room was very spacious and a good value.

“Florence”

Very convenient hotel to train and bus stations. Good friendly service. Location is close enough to walk everywhere for sightseeing. Good restaurants in vicinity. It is what I want for a home away from home: comfort, conveinience, helpful staff, and clean rooms. Pricing is reasonable.

“Good locatioin is what it has going for it.”

The hotel was in a good location but the service was not good the AC did not work we asked 3 different people at the front desk and they just kept pushing the problem to an other person with it never getting fixed. The hotel is very loud and the pillows were very hard and hard to sleep with.

“Great location”

The hotel offered a breakfast included each day, which I found beneficial for a family of four. Another hotel we stayed at on our trip charged around 40 euros for the 4 of us for breakfast and it wasn't worth it, so we found the breakfast buffet here great! The other huge benefit was how close it was to the train station, very convenient when you are dragging along a ton of luggage down the cobblestone streets. One thing that was annoying is how noisy it was in the morning, the street in front of the hotel is noisy. Great computer access and a comfortable stay.

“They got it all right”

The hotel was minutes walk to the Central Market, Train Station and most tourist locations. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The Room was clean, and I can't say enough about the breakfast. A perfect start to the day.

“Would Go Back”

“A good first Firenza Experience”

Traveling alone and on a budget for my first visit to Firenza I needed to feel safe, central and comfortable. I wanted to be able to walk to the main station, museums and places to eat. Knowing that most old European cities with historical buildings converted into hotels cannot possibly be expected to provide large rooms with king-sized beds all I really expect is a clean comfortable bed, a functioning shower and a window that opens. I had a single room opening onto a small inner courtyard, a miniscule but delightful balcony and a quiet room. The breakfast was more than enough. I asked for a hot water boiler and hence had the luxury of an early morning cup of tea as well as being able to come back to my room during the day for a decent cup of tea. The covered food markets are only a few minutes walk and were a highlight for me. A bonus was the more than cheerful and helpful staff. I enquired about trains to my next destination and was handed a Trenitalia printout. The good friend who recommended this hotel has been back 4 times. I hope I will return and I most definitely would recommend it.

“Would use again in florence”

Great locale, big beds and bathrooms, comfortable and clean. Have no idea why it was scored 2 out of 5. Great place and staff couldn't be nicer or more helpful.
