“Excellent interesting Hotel”
We had apartment style rooms on the top floor. Quiet area. Great bathroom, excellent shower and twin basins! Small kitchenette with fridge. Very helpful reception and excellent breakfasts. But 25mins walk from Ponte Vecchio, OK for us tho' Good sitting out chairs in room.
“Great hidden hotel”
Was a great find. Hidden on a quiet street away from the hustle and bustle and yet only a stones throw away from the major attractions. Rooms very clean and well kept and overall is a fairly modern hotel. Great find for the price. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel.
“Palazzo Ricasoli”
The three of us enjoyed a suite of rooms with 2 wc's.Unfortunately there was some confusion regarding the kitchenette and it appeared that we would have to pay 10 euros a day to be able to make a cup of tea! However all was resolved by the lovely young ladies on Reception.They also helped us with use of the internet for checking in our flights home. Our only complaint was that due to the large groups of people booked into the hotel, we often had no fruit at breakfast time.
“Would return tomorrow!”
I traveled on my own and was very impressed by the standard of help and advice. The staff were very helpful and the standard of English was a great help as i have no Italian. the room was spacious and comfortable. The location of the hotel was perfect for Florence, walking is a must to take in all the sites. I would have no hesitation returning or recommending to others.
“Pretty good place to stay”
Pretty good place to stay. A bit away from the center part of the city. Room was very spacious. Hotel staff could have been a bit more helpful. Room was a bit warm. Overall a good experience.
“Relatively quiet...”
We were only in Florence for one night, so it's difficult to review a hotel after such a short time period. However, we were pleased with the staff and the comfort of the room. The one thing we can say, however, is that although the hotel states on their website that their rooms are 'sound-proofed' ours was not. We could hear our neighbors (above) walk around, flush the toilet, and open & close their closet door. Fortunately they settled down quickly (and didn't turn on their television). Otherwise, it was very quiet. And since the hotel is made up of several building around a courtyard it's very possible that many are, in fact, sound-proofed. We would consider staying here again since it's in a good location in a quiet neighborhood.
“Some tips”
Hotel was clean and comfortable. However, bar was open all day but closed at 10pm, which was slightly disappointing as we fancied a drink there after dinner and also on first night as we arrived late. Staff in bar were very friendly. Watch out for mosquitos in summer.

Nice and clean. friendly and helpful staff. Easy walking distance of all attractions and sight seeing activities.
“If you like a space you can call your own on holiday”
A hotel but with roomy apartments. Friendly staff, facilities probably three star. Well positioned to see the town, and a pleasant walk to the centre. If you like privacy and quiet, you'll like the rooms and the layout of the hotel. Everything we asked for was promptly provided (e.g. taxis, extra towels).
“Good find”
Nice hotel, about 15mins walk from the train station. A very easy city to walk around. Large room, comfortable beds and excellent bathroom. Very helpful reception staff and good breakfast included.
