On the other hand, we regret reading you had issues with parking and we take this occasion to inform you that our internal garage has a few parking slots and, for this reason, the possibility of parking inside depends on availability upon arrival.When you arrived, our garage was actually full but, every guest is free to take his own car to go out of town and return the evening, this is the reason why during the day garage may look empty.We are sure you agree that, if upon check in there is availability in the internal garage, we have to keep the slot for that guest's car for the entire stay, even if a guest is out for the day by car; otherwise, it would not be nice on guest's behalf and also difficult in terms of organization.Moreover, kindly note that internal garage and external garage rate is the same and it is honestly in line with other garages in town, located inside the restricted area (ZTL).However, every guest can choose a different parking solution, that may better suits his needs, also in terms of price.We thank you for your feedback and we hope to welcoming you back again in the future. Dear Mr Soohuk,We are very sorry to read your comments which, however, we expected. We confirm that unfortunately it is not possible to book a room for three people and check in with five people. There are rules that we must respect and that we cannot fail to take into consideration. Despite your attitude at check-in, we made ourselves immediately available to find an alternative solution, also giving you the possibility to find an alternative accommodation and cancel your reservation free of charge if the solution offered was not to your liking. You agreed to stay in our hotel but, evidently, the effort made to find a solution to the problem was not appreciated. We hope that, with greater calm and knowledge of the laws, you can understand the reason that prevents a hotel from letting five people sleep in a double room: hotels have occupancy limits for their rooms based on fire codes, safety regulations, and guest comfort. Dear Yuan Xu,Greetings from IQ Hotel Firenze.We are honestly sorry about your feedback.As we explained upon check in, the reservation you made for our hotel was for a triple room for three guests, 2 adults and 1 child- as you indicated at the time of booking on the intermediary website.Upon check in, you arrived at our hotel as a family of four, 2 adults and 2 children; unfortunately triple room can accommodate for security reasons up to 3 people plus, eventually, a baby in crib (0-2 years old) but your youngest child is 6 years old. All these information are also stated on third party website.On that day we did not have a bigger room available but we had a quadruple room available for the second night of your stay. Therefore, we offered you an exceptional solution for the first night and room change to the quadruple for the second night, in order to properly accommodate you all.You decided to stay for the first night but you preferred to cancel the second one because you did not want to change room and we totally respected your decision. You asked us to assist you in canceling the second night and we handled the procedure with the intermediary on your behalf too. Once again, we are sorry for the situation but we did all we could offering you the best solution available, considering we had the reservation for three guests and we could not know in advance you would have arrived in four instead.
