“Perfect location! Can't wait to go back!”
The hotel is within a few blocks of the Duomo and easy walking distance from the Uffizi Gallery and The Accademia. It is also right near the train station, which was convenient. It is in a quaint old building, the staff is very pleasant, and our room was simple but clean. The breakfast was wonderful and was included in the price: croissants, rolls, jam, cold cereals, various fruit juices, cheese and ham slices, and a cappucino maker. We left each morning ready to see the sites! Overall, we would totally recommend the hotel. The pure location of it makes it worth the while. The leather market was quite near as well, and we thoroughly enjoyed shopping up and down the cute little streets. Florence is a beautiful city and one we plan on returning to!
“Friendly staff in the middle of a busy city”
We stayed in a quadruple room and were surprised how well we slept even though we were near a busy street. My bed was fine but my friend sank into his middle of his bed. the staff was very friendly and it was a pleasure speaking to them every time we past the front desk.
“Hotel Nizza was great!”
The Nizza was an easy walk from the train station and the concierge very friendly and helpful. We had a small but clean room for the 4 of us. Breakfast was delicious and the area close to all the sites. The street outside the window was busy but most Italian streets are.
“Good location - but could have been better!”
We spent two nights here in the end of June. Overall, the location was fantastic but we were unimpressed with the rest of the hotel for the price. The room was pretty dingy and it had air conditioning that didn't actually work, which meant we had to sleep with the windows open and get attacked my mosquitoes. Breakfast was served for two hours in the morning but unfortunately, we were up and about before it started so we never got to enjoy it. This is the right location but there are a lot of other hotels in the area and I would try another one.
