“Will stay here again”
Wonderful Hotel!!!!! Clean, very nice friendly staff! Will definitely stay here again!
“Great staff”
We stayed at Hotel Jane our first night in Italy and were very grateful for the staff's patient explanation of things like local parking conventions and tipping customs. The room was very small (and the shower downright microscopic) but nonetheless efficiently designed and quite usable. Everything was meticulously clean. The breakfast was one of the better ones we encountered.
“Disgusted...”
For Starters, the staff was wonderful with helping us cancel this hotel! That is about the only positive here! When we arrived and were given our key (yes, actual key like in the 80's) we were led to a room about 10 feet away from the front desk (location, location, location right?)...when we opened the door, it smelled like a Richard Simmons Excercise Class in 100 degree weather. The Body Odor was so strong that the smell actually lingered on our clothing! Since this was our honeymoon, we were very optimist none the less, and my Husband procedded to open the window thinking he can get rid of the smell...nope it opened onto a covered patio where the laundry was being washing and had those huge baskets of dirty hotel towels right in front of it. Needless to say, that was enough and we spoke to Juliet who was kind enough to only charge us for one night and let us cancel the rest. We've stayed at 3 star hotels before, but this was sub par to a one star.
“Friendly hotel near sites”
Good quality hotel with willing and friendly hotel staff providing a family run atmostphere. Location is good on handy bus route to centre of town and sites. Rooms are a little on the small side but within category norms for location and all well cleaned and maintained. Free wifi strangely only seemed to connect immediately outside front door of hotel. Plenty of good local restaurants and shopping within 5-10mins walk.
“Nice little boutique hotel”
Nice and quite place to stay.. Staff is very friendly and accomodating.. It is a little off the beaten path but well worth it
“very impressed”
charming hotel helpful staff long walk to center of Florence
“Would absolutely stay here again!”
Our room was spotless, cleaned every day. Even my PJs were folded and placed on my freshly made bed. Breakfast was a normal European continental breakfast, nothing fancy but still enough to eat. Quiet location but still close enough to the main attraction. We were able to walk to all places.
“quaint hotel”
we enjoyed the hotel. it was clean and looked as though it had been recently remodeled or updated. the staff was friendly. we parked our rental car in their garage and walked all over to sightsee. free internet in the lounge area and free breakfast. i would recommend this hotel if you don't mind walking.
“Nice place to stay”
Location is not hard to find although the direction is not very clear (take off the bus no. 14 from main train station after 10-15 minutes !!). Front desk staffs are very nice and welcoming. Room is clean but a bit tight, especially with bathroom (typical in Italy?). Air ventilation in the room should be improved. After we arrived, we decided to open up the windows to let the air in and ended up inviting the mosquitoes to entertain us at night. Breakfast is also good.
“Good place for sight-seeing”
An older, but decent place, about 15 minutes walking distance from downtown. We probably got the smallest room in the house, because there was just half a metre place on each side of the bed free... However, it was clean and warm, and we spent most of the time walking the streets of Florence. Breakfasts are fine (Italian type, with espresso or latte in the morning), lot of jams, no eggs, a few slices of sausage and cheese. The bread and buns might be better.
