“Big, clean rooms and very nice staff.”

Out of the four hotels we stayed at during our honey moon in Europe, the Gioia had the biggest rooms and the most friendly staff.

“Good location”

A pretty basic hotel, but is ideally placed for the centre of Florence and great value - it's all you need really. The one downside was it was on a busy street and a bit noisy in the morning mid-week (there seemed to be thousands of students walking past) and was noisy on Saturday night too. But overall we had no complaints, the staff were friendly and it was the ideal base for our trip to florence.

“Nice location, Friendly Staff, Functional Room”

Room was decorated sparingly and the bed was very hard with flat pillows. But staff was super friendly and accommodating, and the location was steps from the Duomo.
