“Very Pleasant Hotel”

The hotel price was fairly high by United States standards, and the room wasn't massive. However, it was clean and comfortable and the decoration was nice. There was free public internet downstairs and the breakfast in the morning was good (excellent coffee). The hotel was near several restaurants and shopping piazzas and walking distance to major attractions. One of the most pleasant European hotels I've stayed at.

“Great location, friendly staff, very clean”

Well located just a few minutes walk from both the Duomo and the railway station. Staff very friendly and fluent English. Room was clean, bed comfortable and shower powerful - perfect! Breakfast was standard Euro-fare, nothing exciting but nothing to complain about. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visting Florence.

“Clean and Modern”

Great hotel in a great location at a great price. The hotel was very modern and must have been recently remodeled. What more could you ask for. Well, don't get the ground floor room on the street unless you enjoy the hustle, bustle of the city. It was a little noisy but still wonderful and opening the window to the street in the morning was quite nice. Highly recommended.

“comfortable stay, helpful staff, good breakfast”

This hotel is located conveniently near SMN train station and to all the sights. There are restaurants and convenience stores nearby. The staff were friendly and helpful with reservations/directions. Breakfast was good and plenty. All the sights are walkable from this hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable but no frills. Internet worked only in the lobby. Overall a good hotel.

“Good location”

For a first visit to Florence this suited us very well. Hotel Botticelli is in a very good location on a side street near the Central Market and less than 5 minutes walk to San Lorenzo, the Duomo etc. The room was small but adequate, but had practically no view. There was a lot of corrugated metal screening to the nearby buildings which made it look less attractive on the outside on arrival. A car repair garage was next door. However it was exceptionally clean, quiet, well furnished and the bed was comfortable. Luggage could be left and picked up later on departure.

This hotel is just a family hotel in an old palace, full of character and just so well located in the centre of Florence but still in a back street so pretty quiet.

“Would definitely stay here again”

My girfriend and I stayed at this hotel which we booked through Expedia based on the reviews and the location in Florence. We went to visit my daughter attending art school in Florence and the hotel was close to her apartment as well as the Duomo, the Uffizi Gallery, the Ponte Vecchio, etc. etc. Our room was lovely, the patio was great, the breakfast was much better than described by one review, the service was great and the staff very friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Florence and staying at this hotel was certanly a plus. I especially enjoyed watching the traffic and vendors from our 3rd floor window.

“Fabulous Florence!”

This hotel is superbly located, only a five minute walk from the Duomo, Uffizi, and excellent shops. The hotel rooms were very well equipped and staff were always courteous. If you're driving the hotel offers secure parking for a reasonable fee. Plenty of good restaurants around - try Za Za's just around the corner, a favourite with celebs!

“Firenze - Molto bene!!”

The Botticelli hotel - true to its name- is decorated with Botticelli reproductions. The room was very nice, clean, and had a minibar refrig. The front desk staff were all very pleasant, spoke very good english, and you could get free internet in the lobby. The breakfast was quite nice, with good variety, and very nice cappuccinos - served by a delightful lady with a wonderful smile who really worked to provide good service. The hotel is also right around the corner from the Marcato Centrale, the best high quality street market in Italy. It is also an easy walk to the Acadamie (David), Ufizza, Duomo, Pointe de Vecchia.... I highly recommend this delightful place. Price might be a little high, but generally worth it.

“I really like this place!”

This is the second time I stayed at the Hotel Botticelli, and I like it very much. The staff members are very, very helpful. Sara, for instance, corresponded with me before my visit when I requested a deluxe room, and I was pleased that she was on duty when I checked in. The breakfast is good, and the staff member working there was helpful and kind as well. The location is great, and our room wasn't nearly as small as I've come to expect in Italy (or Europe, for that matter).
