“Great location, great service”
The service was top-notch, and the location was perfect, just a couple blocks from the Uffizi Museum. Didn't have a chance to try the breakfast, though (up too early or too late)

“A hotel in a fantastic location.”
The hotel is ideally situated in the centre of Florence, very close to the Uffizi Gallery, Palazzo Vecchio and the Ponte Vecchio. As one walks into the quiet calm foyer of the hotel it is very much a haven from all the hustle and bustle of the city just outside. It has an incredible beautiful historic dining area for breakfast and dinner. The ground floor lounge was a pleasant place to relax and take some refreshment after a day out touring Florence. All the staff were welcoming, very attentive to my needs and could speak English well.
“LOCATION! LOCATION! LOCATION!”
Florence was the highlight of my entire holiday and I went to many places in various regions. And the location and comfort of my hotel made it possible for that to happen. It is 10 mins away from the train station, 3 min walk to the Uffizi Gallery and 5mins to the Duomo and Ponte Vecchio the same. It is a walkable city but the location of the hotel helped too. And I give them 5 stars not just for the location but also for the great staff, friendly and helpful bartender and clean and comfortable rooms. The only thing I wished was better were the hair dryers. Since I was traveling through the country I wanted to travel light and hence did not bring my own. So if you are used to Turbo dryers then I would say bring your own. Having said that, one phone call to the receptionist and they sent someone with a salon size professional dryer and all was right with the world again. I would recommend it to one and all. Thank you Hotel Bernini for a memorable stay.
“A very good winter break.”
The Bernini Palace was attractive, comfortable and added much to the enjoyment of a few days in a wonderful city. The staff were courteous, friendly and helpful. Sleeping on linen sheets was a pleasure as were the chocolates on my pillow each evening. Only tea and coffee making facilities in the bedroom would have made my stay any better! Breakfast was fresh, varied and plentiful, excellent coffee was served and there was the option of a glass of Prosecco to start the day.
“Elegant”
This is a beautiful hotel with old world charm. The location in Florence could not be better, convenient to everything. The staff was spectacular. The breakfast was very good. Even though it was a buffet, the service staff was incredibly attentive. The negatives were that the room was warm, as they have no AC, and there wasn't any circulation. Also, the bed was too hard for our taste, but this seems to be somewhat typical for European hotels. In the future, I would ask for a room on a lower floor which would probably help to alleviate the heat problem.
“Exceptional”
We stayed here for eleven nights for our honeymoon and absolutely loved it. All of the hotel staff was kind and informative. Our room was very large, clean and well furnished. The hotel is in the center of Florence, so we were never too far from any of the major sites. The concierge arranged a wonderful day in Chianti for us that included a wine tour, cooking class and stops in a scenic towns along the way - it was excellent! Previous reviewers have mentioned the hotel being on a noisy street, and we found that it wasn't too bad - nothing out of the ordinary for us since we live in Manhattan. With that said, we couldn't be more pleased with our stay here, and will definitely be recommending this hotel to all of our friends and family!
“Elegant hotel in great location”
The staff was friendly and helpful, the hotel is a close walk to many of Florence's top locations and the lobby, restaurant, and room are in beautiful classic decor. The hotel is in a great location. The room was ok sized, larger than many European rooms but not US sized. The bathroom was somewhat small. I would stay again, depending on price.
