Best time to go to Toronto

    Peak Season:

From June through September tourists abound in the city. The weather is typically warm, if a bit muggy at times; however, most visitors do not mind the moisture, as there is plenty of excitement to be had. From North by Northeast in June to the Toronto International Film Festival in September, this city is alive with art during the peak season.

    Shoulder Season:

In October then again in April and May, the city sees remarkable weather, a drop in the price of flights and accommodations and significantly thinner crowds. These months are excellent for exploring some of the many outdoor activities, such as wandering around the beautifully manicured grounds of Casa Loma, strolling the beaches on Centre Island, or taking part in the Khalsa Day festivities in April.

    Off Season:

The off season, which begins in November and ends in March, sees an increase of inexpensive flights to Toronto. During these months most tourists flee to warmer climates, but the adventurous visitor knows that despite the bracing weather, this is an excellent time to visit the city, as there are fewer crowds and plenty to do.
