Though Prague was once a hidden gem, it is now one of the most popular tourist destinations in Europe. One of the first things you will notice upon arriving is the intricately detailed architecture. Once you delve into the heart of the city however, you will realise it is made up of much more like a rich history and culture, unique dining and shopping and an endless array of museums, theatres and attractions. As this spot has become something of a tourist hub, it is important to plan ahead in order to find the best deals on flights and accommodation.

Best time to go to Prague

    Peak Season:

Despite the fact that this city is busy during the peak season, which falls from May to early September, it is still possible to find cheap flights to Prague if you book several months in advance. Tourists crowd the city during this period, as the weather is delightfully warm and the friendly locals put on a spectacular show at the International Music Festivals in spring and autumn.

    Shoulder Season:

March through to April and later September through to October make up the shoulder season in this city. The climate is cool but temperate during these periods, making it a great time to explore the Troja Chateau, view the city from the Jindrišská Tower, or stroll through the Vrtbov Garden.

    Off Season:

While most tourists prefer to avoid the cold weather from November to February, the adventurous visitor will be rewarded with inexpensive flights to Prague, plus many exciting events such as the Winter Festival and Masopust.
