Largely considered to be a simple transit point for other locations, Nadi has enough charms of its own to make it a fantastic destination. The third largest city in Fiji, Nadi offers plenty of entertainment, such as diving and dining, golfing and sightseeing. Given that this location is not usually the final destination of most Fiji travellers, it is easy to find cheap flights.
Best time to go to Nadi
Peak Season:
The peak season in Nadi falls between July and September. Tourists flock to this city during these months because of the cooler temperatures and drier atmosphere. The mild, beautiful climate makes it much easier to take in all of the natural beauty and festivals, the colourful villages and the stunning Sri Siva Subramaniya Swami Temple.
Shoulder Season:
Because of a distinct lack of tourism, Nadi becomes a place of quiet and tranquillity in May through June and then again in October. The lull in tourism is largely due to an increase in rain and humidity. However if you do not mind a bit of moisture, Nadi is a great place to visit during the shoulder season as crowds are few and flights are inexpensive.
Off Season:
Though it might be rainy during the off season, which is between November and April, the rain is often followed by warm, brilliant sunshine. For those who enjoy the rainy season Nadi is a nice place to visit, as airfares are usually cheap and there is still ample entertainment to be had both outdoors and in.

Being one Fiji's main airports and most important international hubs, Nadi International Airport is a busy location and because of this, they offer numerous methods of transport. Taxis are a good way to travel as they are moderately priced and easy to find. Nadi also has a great bus system, which is very inexpensive and surprisingly comfortable. Alternatively you may prefer to rent a car, though this may not be an option if you are under the age of 21.
