The Verandah Antigua - All Inclusive - Adults Only
10/10 Excellent
"The Verandah Antigua is a true Caribbean gem. The resort is beautifully maintained, with stunning views, peaceful surroundings, and exceptional staff who are friendly, attentive, and welcoming. I especially appreciated the fresh, naturally grown food and the resort's commitment to sustainability, including its water filtration system. From the beautiful beaches to the outstanding service, every aspect of our stay was memorable. A wonderful destination that should not be missed when visiting Antigua."
Cocobay Resort Antigua - All Inclusive - Adults Only
8/10 Good
"service was great, location is beautiful and staff is very helpful. Only down side is food quality specially dinner we were very disappointed for that price point to have that quality of entree for dinner tbh"
"The property was well maintained with beautiful flowers and grounds. The beach is beautiful great for swimming and an abundance of beach furniture. There are yellow flags to guide you but I did not see a lifeguard.
The rooms are clean with basic amenities but a bit dated still using keys and safety box uses a removable lock.
The staff in the restaurants were polite and friendly. Food in general was very good.
If you are staying for a week you do not get housekeeping services however you can request fresh linen and towels. There is a cost for housekeeping services if you want service while staying seven days or less.
I found the desk staff to be professional on check in but lacked a welcoming demeanor. I would suggest a cool drink while waiting to be checked in.
My stay was uneventful and I enjoyed my stay and would like to compliment all the restaurant staff."
Pineapple Beach Club Antigua - Adults Only – All Inclusive
10/10 Excellent
"This place was great. Wonderful atmosphere, plenty of activities, many places to explore. Got up early one morning and took a walk to onDevils Bridge to see the sunrise. Good was just ok at the buffet, food could be warmer. BBQ place on the hiss was awesome! Would stay here again!!"
"Overall we had a great experience. The rooms were clean and well-maintained. We stayed in a Gauguin Suite, which felt more like a private villa than a hotel room. Having a secluded backyard and plunge pool was a huge plus and made the stay feel very intimate and relaxing. The beach is absolutely beautiful and easily one of the resort's biggest highlights. The food was surprisingly good. Since meals are made to order rather than sitting under heat lamps at a buffet, everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. The drinks were ok, although pretty much what you'd expect from an all-inclusive Caribbean resort.
That said, this is not the type of resort you come to if you're looking to party. Galley Bay is all about relaxation, reconnecting with your significant other, and enjoying a slower pace of life. The evening entertainment is usually a live band playing music rather than the typical high-energy resort productions. Everything is very low-key and laid back.
One thing to note is that the resort itself is fairly small. You can walk from one end to the other in about 10 minutes, which we liked but if you're looking for a massive property with endless activities, this may not be the place.
My only real criticism is that some of the staff seemed a bit uninterested at times. Nobody was rude but we didn't experience the exceptionally warm service that many Caribbean resorts are known for. We didn't notice many guests tipping, so unlike other places the staff is not tip motivated."
COCOS Hotel - Adults Only - Caters to Couples - All Inclusive
10/10 Excellent
"My ocean view cottage was perfect. I was able to enjoy the sunrise every morning for my 1 week stay. The staff was very attentive to my needs from housekeeping to the restaurant staff. I can’t wait to return."
"
Tucked away from the crowds yet perfectly positioned to enjoy everything the island has to offer, this six-cottage retreat is nothing short of a hidden gem. From the moment you arrive, the pace slows, the noise fades, and you’re invited to settle into true island time.
Each cottage is thoughtfully appointed with everything you need for a comfortable, carefree stay—blending charm, privacy, and all the modern conveniences without sacrificing its intimate, laid-back character. It’s the kind of place where mornings begin with coffee in the tropical breeze and evenings end under a canopy of stars.
What makes this resort truly special is its balance: secluded enough to feel like your own private sanctuary, yet close enough to easily explore the vibrant culture, local flavors, and lively energy of the island whenever you choose. After a day of adventure, returning here feels like discovering a secret oasis all over again.
If you’re looking for an authentic escape—a place where relaxation comes naturally and the spirit of the island surrounds you—this enchanting retreat is a treasure worth finding!"
