"It would have been an above average stay, but our AC was broken. The issue was that they kept saying that they were going to fix it ASAP. We asked five times over the three nights that we stayed there and they kept saying that they were getting it fixed immediately and then never did anything. They didn't move us to a different room either."

"Overall, we enjoyed our stay in Istanbul and the hotel’s location was excellent. However, our experience with the tea shop located inside the hotel was extremely disappointing. We purchased several tea products from the shop inside the hotel and later realized that the prices were extraordinarily high. The very next morning, I returned to the shop hoping to return part or all of the unused products, which were still in the same condition as when purchased. I was given a firm and immediate “no” without any effort to discuss a solution. I then attempted to speak with the hotel manager on three separate occasions. Each time I was told the manager was unavailable. I left messages and my contact information requesting a call back, but I never received any response. What disappointed me most was not only the amount of money spent, but the complete lack of follow-up and customer service. While I understand that the shop may have its own policies, I expected at least a conversation or acknowledgment from hotel management, especially since the shop is located within the hotel. My advice to future guests is to carefully ask for a detailed breakdown of prices before making any purchase from the tea shop. Turkey was a wonderful destination, and we truly enjoyed our trip, but this experience left a negative impression that could have been handled much more professionally."

"Cleanliness and hygiene is excellent, this is my second stay because there’s no other hotel like this hotel in this location. Very close to the centre few tram stops away to sultanahmet. Food variety is great one suggestion is baked beans but don’t know if they do it in turkey. Area has so much to see tram stops close by."

"Location good Clean room and great bed-comfort Breakfast not quite so great Pool area is inconvenient - small space and very much noise from waterfauntain - so impossible to speak with eachother or relax …. Bar-prices EXPENSIVE All in all a nice hotel with warm and friendly staff - but a bit overprised"

"The best feature of this quaint boutique hotel is the location. The next best thing is the staff in their diligent way of assisting every visitor to feel comfortable and welcome. The breakfast was more than adequate. I delight in Turkish breakfast and this one was lovely."

"What a lovely boutique hotel, in the heart of Old Sultanahmet. Absolutely fabulous location. A short walk to the Blue Mosque, amidst all the shops and restaurants, and down the road from the Grand Bazaar and super easy metro. The hotel rooms are large, with nice drapes, and wood finishes. The staff are over the top incredible. They are kind, happy, helpful, patient and treat you like family. If I was ever again in Istanbul I would 100% stay here. I highly recommend this hotel."
