“what we needed”

We used this hotel to bring my daughter to Humboldt State. It was very convenient to the campus and met our needs.

“Very Disappointing”

This is a very old hotel - the room smelled musty, the pool was odiferous as well. The shower was small, the towels scratchy, the mattress hard. There are much better accommodations in this area. I would definitely not stay here again under any circumstances.

“A bit lost”

Poor signs to find it in the dark. A bit desolate location, not very appealing . Friendly staff and clean room. Too much staff chatting in front of guests.

“October Travel”

The hotel was just what we needed for our visit to Arcata/Eureka. It was comfortable, clean and the staff was very accomodating.

“I'd go back”

The morning staff did a great job of accommodating our request to move two rooms so that they were adjacent. This provided us with a much more secure feeling considering we had a young lady traveling with us to visit Humboldt State and she had been placed in a room 7 doors down the first night. The morning staff was polite, listened to our request, and did their best to insure we were happy.
