This is what every hotel should strive to be. Professional, courteous, patient, accommodating, clean, and above all not over priced. After riding through multiple snow storms, freezing weather, and being exhausted. La Quinta was a haven. The front desk lady, Pam was amazingly understanding when I was so cold I couldn't get my credit card out. She gave me a warm towel to wrap my hands in until they stopped. The room was clean, soft and inviting. The breakfast crew was busy making sure everyone was taken care of, the tables were wiped down and the food kept coming.

The room was cold and turning on the heat caused the fan to run continuously and was very noisy making it difficult to sleep. Covers on the bed were very much lacking in warmth

We like this hotel and it is perfect for our yearly stopover. But this time I was extremely upset about the lack of accommodation. I broke my foot. We requested any room close to the elevator and/or with a shower. We were given a room farthest away from the elevator you can get and with a tub. Made it extremely difficult for me. I realize it was late in the day but there was no attempt to aid me. Very disappointed in the service.

When you book with Expedia we cannot change your room type. I apologize for any confusion but with special requests I would strongly recommend calling directly.

Dog friendly in Ely
The hotel is clean, comfortable and well-located. I stayed in a wing that seems mostly to house people and pets, which was great, since I had two dogs with me.
