“Marques du Riscal”

The hotel is in the middle of nowhere and there is little to do after touring the vineyard and whirling through the spa. The staff was slack, but the building and setting are gorgeous and the food quite good, if not world class. It is definitely worth one day, perhaps two, but after that, you better bring a fascinating companion, fantastic book etc.or you will be hard pressed for diversion or stimulation.
