“Matoon's Best Hotel”
We were very impressed with this hotel. Extremely clean, nice pool area with plenty of extra towels for guests at pool something you don't often find. Would definitely stay here again/
“Very Comfortable”
Beds are Very Comfortable, Used the Workout Facilities. Free Internet a Huge plus for me! Staff helpful with suggesting Dining Stops and providing coupons for local businesses.
“Very nice”
Staff very friendly and helpful. The room was nice, but a little on the small side. Breakfast was great, with a good selection. The breakfast staffer did a wonderful job of keeping everything clean and well stocked. Coffee and tea available 24 hours.

The rate was not bad the hotel staff were very friendly and the hotel was clean. I would recommend and stay again myself.

We needed to stay for a funeral and a terrible snowstorm came in. Even though the hotel was maxed out with last minute guests the breakfast was great and the service was too! nothing they can't handle!

Quiet for next to the highway. Very comfortable. Enjoyed our stay.
“Great night's sleep”
Great location. Quiet with very good nearby dining. My only recommendation would be to replace the harsh lights over the beds. I know they save energy but cast a glare for reading.
“FYI”
Booked room with 2 Queen Beds and requested a roll-away bed. Fire regulations prohibit them from giving you the roll-away in this room. Had to switch to a king with a pull out sleeper and then got the roll-away. The sleeper and the roll-away were not comfortable.
“I would go back”
I really liked the hotel. It was clean and attractive. The brekfast was great. I thought I had a refrigerator in my room. I was offered a king room with a refrigerator but I wanted two beds.
“Nice Overnight Stay for a Reasonable Price”
Room and Bathroom were very clean, as were the hallways and lobby where breakfast buffet was served. The breakfast buffet had a very nice selection of hot/cold items. The fitness room is small but had the basic ammenities to work out (treadmills, elliptical machine, free weights, bench, balance balls, weighted balls, mats, flat screen tv, water cooler, towels). Wireless Access in rooms as well as computer and printer available in lobby. Several places to eat within walking distance of hotel. A nice place to stay overnight if visiting Eastern Illinois University, which is just 8 miles down the road.
