“Excellent Hote;”

We have stayed at the Varscona several times when visting Edmonton for the Fringe Festival. The location, valet parking and wine & cheese make it perfect for our Fringing experience. The staff are always very professional and accomodating and the rates for a boutique hotel in the heart of the action are excellent. We plan on staying at the Varscona next year when we visti the Fringe.

“A romantic getaway”

We loved staying at the Varscona on Whyte. This was our second time there. It is close to many cute and trendy shops. Awesome dining like the Keg or Chilis...and then some great pubs. The free wine and cheese in the evenings is a nice touch and the staff is very helpful. The rooms are not huge, but comfortable and well decorated. It was a romantic place to stay and very affordable considering everything you got, robes in the room and wine and cheese....you dont get that for that price just anywhere. The Valet parking is a life saver in the location since parking is difficult to come by. You can walk to most anywhere you want to dine or shop. We will definately spend more getaways at this hotel.

“Best bet in South Edmonton”

We have stayed at the Varscona for three years while attending the Edmonton Fringe Festival. The hotel is nicely situated at the west end of the main Strathcona strip on Whyte Avenue and has easy walking access to all the Fringe venues. The additional perks of free car valet service. free breakfast, and free wine and cheese tasting make it an excellent value. The staff are always freindly and attentive and the rooms are very quiet and comfortable.

“Love this hotel!”

I have always enjoyed staying at the Varscona. It is idealy situated on Whyte Ave, the staff is most helpful, the breakfasts are satisfying and wine/cheese is a lovely touch. I stay here whenever I can.

“Excellent AffordableHotel-Great Service”

We just came back from a great stay at the Varscona. We loved the Saturday night wine tasting, and had a great clean room. The hotel is very convenient to all shops on Whyte Ave. The valet's brought our car around really fast when we requested it. We also feel like this is a safe area. The free wi-fi and deluxe contintental breakfast was great too. We will definately be back soon. Thanks Varscona!
