Located within the the West Edmonton Mall, this hotel has three on-site restaurants and a lounge. Since it opened in 1986, more than 3.5 million guests have stayed here. Fantasyland Hotel is currently the only hotel within the shopping and entertainment complex, which is home to more than 800 stores and entertainment venues. The mall itself is 5.2 million square feet. Highlights include a water park, amusement park, miniature golf, a skating rink, and a multi-screen movie theater.
For business travelers, 25,000 square feet of meeting space can be booked, including a ballroom and catering and presentation equipment. High-speed wired Internet access is complimentary. Valet parking is available in the hotel's garage (surcharge), and self parking is complimentary.
This hotel accepts cats and dogs only up to 25 pounds.

“Great Location”
The Fantasyand Hotel is great. I love it there. Whenever I go to Edmonton, I only stay there. Being inside the mall makes it really easy to drop off your shopping in your room. Definitely a 10/10

the rooms were well kept, very spacious, and a wonerfully large bathtub....i was very satisfied.
“room renovations great”
Our stay was much better than when we've stayed before as the room reno was great. The noise level was much improved as when in previous years we've stayed before and listened to kids screaming etc. The only problem with our room was that it had this big open space that a sofa was probably supposed to be. However it worked for us because the kids could play in that space. I had heard from work colleagues some stories about security was a problem and cleanliness and I think this hotel does struggle with high volumes of people.
“Enjoyable Memory!!!!!”
I enjoyed the experience very much. This is the second time that I have stayed at the Fantasyland Hotel and both times I have found the stay comfortable and very, very convientent with regard to shopping, dining and just walking the mall for exercise. The rooms are comfortable and quiet and you don't get the dreaded knock at the door early in the morning to see if you want the room cleaned or bed made up. The staff that you do encounter are polite and helpful I would highly reccomend it to anyone and the price is right. It is the top of my list for my next visit.

“So much to see and do without moving your car”
This hotel has improved in modernization and is a great place to stay...I don't think anyone can say they found nothing to do while they were here...an oasis in the winter and a shopping extravaganza always!!
“Will return”
Excellent hotel. Front desk speedy and polite. Slight problem with TV remote but a staff member attended to the problem immediately. Room was very clean and spacious. Will definitely return to Fantasyland Hotel when in Edmonton.

“Couldn't believe the spacious room”
We were pleasantly surprised at the size of the room, which included a tv/entertainment area and a dinning area. Although we didn't stay in a "fantasy room" we did view one and they are spectacular. The hotel was so quiet and so convieniantly located within the mall. A quick trip down the elevator in the morning and we had Starbuck's coffee when we didn't want to use the coffee maker in the room. A safe in the room allowed us to leave our valuables while out shopping or in the Water Park, at the rides, or minature golfing. The rooms were well cleaned and ready for us when we returned from having a great lunch or dinner downstairs at one of the many restaurants in the mall. We also liked having our own fridge and dinning table so we could breakfast in. This is a great hotel for couples or families with lots to offer. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We never had to leave the hotel or mall all weekend everything is there, under one roof. The shopping was great and we didn't have to carry our bags far, simply take them up to the room and start over. My 5 year old grandson said the best thing was when the sting ray gave him a high five. A wonderful family memory maker to which we will return.
