“Spacious suite in great location”

Aside from trying to figure out where we were supposed to park (as this hotel is right on a main street and the garage is quite a ways away with no so signs to tell you where), we really loved our stay at the Princes Street Suites. An easy walk to anywhere we wanted to go in Edinburgh. Really well decorated. Full kitchen! Sofa wide enough for our son to sleep on. We did notice mold all along the shower base, but having said that, the bathroom was beautifully tiled. The rooftop terrace is lovely and provides incredible views in all directions. Front desk staff were helpful and friendly. Comp wifi worked fabulously, unlike some places we've stayed. Definitely check it out. It really felt like "our apartment in the city". (Hint: call ahead and have someone explain where parking is located so you're not caught off guard)

“Perfect location”

we checked-in at an apartment that did not have a washing machine, so we asked to move to another one, the one with the washing machine was larger, although both were 2-bedroom apartments. the beds are queen size, not double size. the sofa bed in the kitchen is not comfortable for sleeping if you have an extra person. not all apartments have safe boxes. you can hear the noise from outside as the building is right next to the train station. perfect location near Princes street, waverly train station, st. james shopping centre and princes mall. you can also walk easily to the castle.

“Hidden Gem!”

This hotel wasn't one of the obvious ones that came up in every search on the dozens of websites I researched. I don't remember how we found it, but I'm glad we did. The location was PERFECT - close to Waverly Station transport, but no transportation noise. It was easily accessible to George, Rose, and Princes Streets. A rooftop deck provided beautiful views of the city and the staff was very helpful. There were leftover shampoo bottles and remnants in the robe pocket from the previous guests in the room, but everything else was so perfect, we didn't even mention it to the staff. Best value, most bang-for-the-buck, well-furnished, plenty of room, clean, and comfortable. Highly recommend!

“A great little find!”

We were extremely pleased with this hotel (studio) choice. It is located a couple of minutes walk from train station and convenient for shopping and pubs. Staff were very friendly on arrival and the suite was a good size, very clean, no noise and very well equipped. We only booked for one night but would have been very happy to stay a fortnight!

“Enjoyed our stay”

We only booked this hotel 2 days ahead, and made our decision based only on the location and a few photos online. We had reserved a 2 BR suite, but received a lovely 3 BR suite with full living room, kitchen, laundry facilities and more. This property is really set up for longer-term stays than our two nights, but we enjoyed it very much. Beds were comfortable with nice linens and the property appeared very well-maintained. A roof deck open to all guests was a nice plus with a great view of the city, and we liked the location which was walking distance to most of the tourist sights and handily right near the train station for our departure. Our only regret was that we were so busy sight-seeing in Edinburgh that we didn't have more time to enjoy our suite. And Gareth, the night manager was most helpful on check-in to get us oriented to the city. I'd definitely stay here again.

“I loved Scotland!”

This is a self catering apartment it was much better than a hotel was really large and spacious all very clean and modernly decorated... right in the heart of scotland walking dostance from everything and also close to the waverley train station main station... its defininetly the place to stay i would stay there again when i go back...

“Quality”

Absolutely first class accomodation. No problems whatsoever, couldn't believe we got it at rate we did. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for swish, comfortable, self catering accomodation and suggest you book several days to make most of it!

“amazing apartment, will definitely use again”

Just got back from a one nights stay for my mums 70th birthday. I cant praise the apartment enough, so perfect. Lots of space, clean and modern. Lovely to come back to chill out in front of tv. Staff were really nice and helpful. Went to see the amazing ' we will rock you' show whilst there, staff very helpful with directions to theatre etc, show was great. I will definitley book this place again.

“Exactly What We Wanted”

This place was exactly what we were looking for, in the heart of the city. The rooms were modern and clean. Two TV's, cordless phone, IPod docking station, full kitchen with pots, pans, china, utensils, etc., nice bathroom and even though we had a studio apartment the bedroom was off to the side out of view of the rest of the apartment. Our friend who lives in Edinburgh couldn't believe the price we got the room for and is going to recommend it to all her visiting guests.
