People booking rooms on a B&B basis can enjoy breakfast in our dining room on the ground foor between 8 and 9am or earlier by prior arrangement. The menu available ranges from a light snack including breakfast cereals, tea, coffee, toast, yoghurt and fruit juice, or the traditional British cooked breakfast of bacon, susages, eggs etc, and of course lighter variations and a vegetarian/vegan option are available.

“Lovely, homely, friendly and clean”

We stayed for four nights and found clean, comfortable, well decorated rooms, friendly cheerful staff and a good breakfast (included in the price)! We'll book again when we next visit the area. More info? We were greeted in a friendly manner and they knew who we were. Our room was a good size, clean, well decorated, had a comfortable bed and an ensuite shower and loo (dark green marble effect decor and white goods). We were offered two keys and could come and go as we pleased with no time restrictions. Breakfast was served in the dining room with the options of continental or full english cooked to order. Fresh toast was delivered to the table almost immediately and was served with a smile! How refreshing. Regarding location we spent most of our time exploring the Royal Mile and surrounding parts of Edinburgh. To get to there was a short bus ride (ten mins) with bus stops close to the B&B and the Mile itself. Buses were extremely frequent - so no problems there if that's what you're looking for. We ate out in the city centre every night but if you wish to eat locally there are a few shops, pubs and take away restaurants within easy walking distance. All in all ten out of ten.

“good guest gest house”

Really friendly welcome,the room was good,but if i am honest the bathroom,could have been a little cleaner(i am being really fussy now).the breakfasts were really good,top rate, all served with a smile.
