“You'd be stupid not to try it !!”

A very friendly hotel in a good location with secure parking as a bonus, breakfast was first class and bar service/prices another very welcome suprise !!

“"A Haven" of hospitality!”

An older vine covered "household" with an old fashioned welcome. Though arriving early, Host David welcomed us, offering to stow our luggage in his office, while we explored the city, and our room was being prepared. Bags were taken up the stairs to the room for us. A tiny, cozy, corner-window room, had all the amenities necessary. The clever efficient use of the little room space afforded large bed, ample bathroom (shower) with lots of warm/hot water. Biscuits and coffee/tea service were refreshed daily, as well as the room "set to rights" each day. Bottled water was set out too. Full Scottish Breakfast menu was included in the downstairs dining room. You cold have porridge, or cold cereal, as well as all or part of "Eggs, Bacon, Sausage, Haggis, Black Pudding, Brown or White Toast, Marmalade or Jam, Tea, Coffee, Juice." Staff gave a true "Scottish Welcome" and jovial comradery was shared among guests.
