The owners are very good people will help your stay very uncomfortable.I found the rooms very old fashion they could do with a remake i think all rooms should have a sink in the room and a area to make you tea and coffee not rely on the bath for water. Excellent shower but no where to put out you toiletries. The wardrobe was too small it was a broom Cupboard. The room had a lot of power points but really not in the right position. All rooms should have side lamps for your own convenience the light near the bed were very bright ......my room was a twin maybe i was unlucky enough to get one of the older rooms. You get breakfast with you room cereal toast etc but no juice plus you have to go to the dinning room to have it which i found very disappointing. But i must say we got our breakfast in our room after the first day which was a great help.

Excellent room facilities for 2 adults & 2 grandchildren. Complimentary basic breakfast was much appreciated. TV reception was not the best, could be more a inherent signal problem rather that the Motel's TV's which were of a good size & quality.

It was a nice place. Good value for money. You don't expect more than one bedside light or facewashers or places to work tor the price, but we were able to find enough powerpoints for what we needed. Everything was clean and fresh, beds very comfortable. Decor was pleasing (loved the pic on the wall). Would be nice, if they can afford it, if they could paint the walls a pale colour so the 70's brickwork and ceiling don't suck out the light. Heating was perfect, breakfast (included in the price) was very pleasant, enjoyed the company of the other travellers, our sort of people. We will probably come back.

Really nice surprise!!!
We were only in town for a short while but the Manager and other staff made us feel so welcome. The facilities were great for a young family with tennis court, basketball ring and pool. The rooms were very tidy. We will definitely stay again if we are in Echuca.

Older motel but well built
Motel appeared to have been top class about 40 years ago. Still quite good with reasonable prices to match the older decor. Very helpful receptionist.

We stayed at Rivergum Motel for one night. On arriving we were greeted by very friendly staff who went out of their way to help. The room was nice and clean and the bed was very comfortable. We even got breakfast all at a very affordable price. Would have loved to stay longer but not surprisingly they were booked out. Would definitely stay here again.

Enter a dark room and light switch on other side of room. Free wifi advertised, could connect with a lot of difficulty and then it didn't work showing message internet connection unstable. Toaster supplied but no plates or cutlery. Breakfast in a central room for everyone. Offered cereal toast orange juice, no coffee or tea offered. Purchased breakfast AND bottled water for the next day from a shop. Fill kettle from spa tap as kettle not fit in bathroom sink. No other tap to use. Used towels in bathroom not replaced and only place to hang them was over shower. When flushing toilet revolting smell emanates from the "fresh" flushing water. (room 26) 2 chairs and table in room are an outdoor setting. Tip: the slippery tiles on step from spa are not the safest. 2 nights booked (non refundable). I should have paid extra and gone somewhere else. Will not return.

A great place to unwind.
We have stayed here several times. Always a pleasure. Location is perfect, out of the town centre which makes it ideal for relaxing. The owner is always cheerful, friendly and helpful with a wealth of local knowledge. Looking forward to our Labour Day long weekend.

2 bedroom motel room!
We (3 adults) stayed for one night to attend an Engagement party. The room was large enough, and quiet overnight. Great to have two bedrooms. Thought it was good value for the fee!

Not a pleasant experience
A series of unsatisfactory experiences placed this motel into the 'do not visit again' basket ! Upon being asked what we would like to order for the 'free' breakfast, it soon became clear that this meant just that - a plate of cooked breakfast, but nothing else. It was either that plate or a continental breakfast, no juice, no cereal, no bread to toast. Even though the outside temperature was way above zero, we were cold inside the room all night. The old-style throbbingly noisy reverse cycle AC barely took the chill off the air, and we were glad to retire early to the thankfully warm electric blankets. The room was clean enough, but several stains on the carpet should have not been obvious. The two chairs provided were those metal slat aluminium ones that belong on balconies (not that there was a balcony). Quite impossible to use these chairs within a motel room, much less given the coldness of the room. We especially asked for a room with good wifi. Well, you could get wifi if you stood in the carpark outside the room, but certainly not within the room. Phone calls to Reception to request the password were not answered. The number to call Reception was not listed in the room, and while I guessed it might be '9', no one picked up the phone in the evening or in the morning. Upon personal enquiry at checkout, the manager seemed unconcerned about such difficulties.
