"I booked a cabin for four adults and my small dog, at check-in they said they were unaware of my pet so charged an additional seventy five dollars for that, the cabin had one coffee cup for four adults, steps to the loft area were loose, pullout double bed sofa mattress was filthy, not enough towels for everyone, shower doors were poorly installed hard to open and close. Overall not a good place to stay, I could not recommend staying in one of the cabins, not sure about the lodge."

"Excellent stay! It was very clean and comfortable, and the host was super responsive. The houses in the area are well designed so you feel secluded in nature. The Cliffs restaurant was excellent and a nice option close by on our way out to the Possum Kingdom State Park. I was on crutches so wary of the stairs, but they were level/sturdy with a solid handrail so not a problem. I’m very glad we came!"

"Trash stacked by the back door, outdated rooms, paint peeling, smoke detector ripped from the wall, bed is super firm, and smelled like mildew, and front desk threw away medication instead of verifying if it was dangerous before tossing or not. When I called about it, the lady argued with me and told me she threw it away and hung up on me."
