"Overall a nice hotel given the small town and castle/tourism nearby. They have parking which is a plus. They have a lovely courtyard and it was nice being able to get a drink to sit in a quiet area. The room was nothing special and when we went to eat in the restaurant you could tell there were no windows open, stuffy and smells."

Beautiful, well kept grounds and pleasant, helpful staff made this a fantastic stay. "Overall a nice stay with clean comfy rooms. Good, helpful staff and very comfy beds. My only gripe is the coffee which is absolutely undrinkable. Come on, get a proper coffee machine for breakfast, everywhere else has one. Oh and the bar operates an over 25 policy which meant my 21 year old son wasnt allowed a beer with the rest of us, which is a bit demeaning at this age. Other than that a nice hotel and good value."

Lovely Stay
"Lovely stay, staff were brilliant.Had DBB only suggestion would be about the meal, Prawn Cocktail bland & Shepherds Pie was lovely, but could have been a bit biggger! Risotto was delicious. Spa was really good, Pool, Jacuzzi, Steamroom & Sauna. Hotels is lovely, my only gripe was outside bar is in the car park, they could maybe enclose it in! All in all great stay & we would return, as great location. "
