"The reception/desk staff were incredibly polite, patient, knowledgeable, and kind. The hotel itself is quite nice and felt like a great mix of historical existing touches and modernity - with nice beds and bathroom products. I do wish there had been a hotel guide in the room to give ideas on things to do in the hotel and surrounding area. However, the desk staff gave us feedback on a dinner choice we had made which reassured us. Parking was challenging in the garage they suggested (Marquette st) as we drive a Dodge Ram 1500, but we chose a different garage later (on 6th across from hotel) and were able to maneuver in and out a little easier there. We did not try the hotel restaurant as we felt it was very overpriced. I'm sure it was great - it's very pretty and they had plenty of diners. The pool area was nice but there were no towels at 8pm when we went - some folks took them from the gym across the hall I think and gave us their extras. Overall a nice stay and it was fun to be downtown vs further out from the activities we came for. "
