“Very friendly and helpful staff”
We went over to Dusseldorf to visit a trade show at Messe. Once we found the hotel we were pleasantly impressed, secure underground parking, very efficient and friendly staff and a very clean hotel in general. We found the food served in the evening was first class (wife is a restaurant manager so knows a bit about good food) and it was a pleasure to eat al fresco.

Very good service for the money I paid, except that breakfast was too expensive. Though selection of meals was excellent and very satisfactory. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
“Great base in a lovely city”
I recently stayed at the Mercure in Dusseldorf with some friends. It was my first visit to Germany and I really enjoyed it. The Mercure is spotless, the food in the hotel is excellent, not just 'very good for hotel food'. Hotel location is excellent, 5 minutes stroll to the shops, 10 minutes walk from the old town, 15 minutes from the river, 2 minutes from the Station. Very friendly staff and my only complaint was that the bar was quite small and there was no non-smoking section. Other than that, all was perfect, and we got a great deal via Expedia. I will use both again.
“Friendly staff”
On arrival I was met by nice friendly smiling staff, The same was on my departure. The Hotel is in a persfect situation to access all of Düsseldorf. Modern flat screen tv of good size in the room. If anything I had an unattractive view - but then I didnt go there to sit and stare out of the window!
“Good value for the price, central location”
Central location, close to the main train station and the key shopping venue,street. Very quiet despite downtown, on street location. Excellent breakfast buffet(extra). Single rooms are small but exceptionally clean. Good value for the price. Locked garage under hotel is an extra charge as well. They advertise as being a four star hotel; it feels more like a 3.0 to 3.5.

Great hotel, extremely comfortable beds. Location allows you to travel to all of Dusseldorf's main areas of interest quickly and cost effectively. Would recommend to anyone visting the fair.

Hotel was lovely, great location to the train station but a 15 min walk into the main shopping district. This was a short shopping trip for just my husband and I to enjoy quality time without the children, and we had a wonderful time both in the day shopping and in the evening trying out the local bars and resturants!

“Close to all the action”
This is a very solid and quality hotel, centrally situated in Dusseldorf (near main train station and 9.5 Km from airport). This hotel offered all modern amenities and had a very nice eating area and bar. The room was equipped with broadband internet (extra charge) but was difficult to make initially work. For any North American travelers interested in this hotel, a single room means a single bed, and associated smaller room. The television is also smaller than you would expect (20 inches) but those have CNN International as a choice of channels. Hotel is very well situated, downtown Dusseldorf, close to all things business and all things leisure such as Koenigsallee shopping area, Old Town, and the port boardwalk. Many fine eating areas are close at hand for nice evening out.

Apart from having only 1 dressing gown, hotel was satisfactory in all respects. We were put in an apartment, which was spacious and comfortable, despite being reachable only through the garage!
