"Beautiful house and gardens although when we were there it rained a lot so didn't get chance to use the garden. Really friendly hosts nothing was too much trouble and one of the best breakfasts we have ever had. EV charging is not a problem either. All in all, perfect hosts and a perfect weekend break."

"The rooms and decor were all simpathetically refurbished in Georgian style. The beds were extremely comfortable and clean. The en-suite I stayed in had a large bath & double shower, the owners were delightful, knowledgeable about things to do around the area. The breakfast was great, various things to eat, they catered for my niece who is celiac, she was delighted to finally stay somewhere and be made to feel part of the company, not an added extra on a special diet! "We had an amazing stay from start to finish. Ian gave us a tour if the castle along with a history. The rooms were cozy, the bed was very comfortable. The owners even gave us a ride to the tram when we were unable to find a taxi. Sue and Ian are a friendly helpful couple. "

"While traveling with our 15 year old son we stayed the weekend in this lovely cottage on the property of Victor an Carina just south of Edinburgh. The hosts are showed wonderful hospitality and the cottage is comfortably set up to sleep three (or four). Great attention to details of all we needed for a comfortable stay including notes for outings in the area and for getting to Edinburgh by bus or train. We definitely want to return to this beautiful cottage with wonderful hosts."

"We recently stayed at May Cottage and it was just what we needed. The cottage is lovely and much bigger than we anticipated, especially the bedrooms - they’re a really big! Kitchen has everything you need and even though we had taken hand wash and washing up liquid etc, it was all provided. Even dishwasher tablets! The views from the garden are exceptional and it was very quiet. We loved sitting watching the families of swallows flying in and out of their nests and listening their babies...
